Paulina is one of the best place to go to in Rodrigues . The value for money is one of the best. You can request for changes in your meals or desires without having eyes rolled at you. The ourite croustillant is to die for and that citronella/lemon refresher is commendable. It's so far one of my favorite places to go to in Rodrigues . And yes , Paulina does come to greet people in the restaurant to hear their views..Food is so food that the last thing you think about is taking photos .

We were about 8 people lunching there.
The experience was very good.
Food - Gratin Papaye, Gratin Fruit de Mer, Poulet Croustillant, Calamar Croustillant, Beignet Legumes, everything were very nice ???????? Beignet Legumes was cherry on top. Since we were a large group, it was complementary. The sauces with the entrée as well were very nice.
Yes, I got some hard pieces of octopus in the gratin but overall it was nice.

Paulina's foood is amazing with lot of variety, the service was good. I advise you to call for reservation and preorder your food if you are a large group. It was a pleasant culinary experience overall and we even received free snacks and desserts. Will definitely go again when I'll be back to Rodrigues.

Our last evening in Rodrigues, we decided to have dinner here (after reading reviews that this is one of the best places on the island), with the family. We ordered food at 7pm and got them almost 8pm (they open at 7pm and close at 9pm). Service is slow and you need to remind the waiter to bring things. When u wait for so long, you expect perfection. To our disappointment, the food was not up to par at all. The butter prawn was flourery and tasted like mayo prawn, the octopus was rubbery, the pork didn’t taste like pork. The portion seemed ok for the price. I would not recommend this place as there are nicer places around the island.

Salle agréable, bonne cuisine.
Attention, la propreté des toilettes laisse à désirer.
En présence de groupes (Résa TO), la service a beaucoup de mal à suivre par ailleurs. C’est dommage.
