Ok, breakfast staff were indeed not always great- (the older waiter behaves like he has really had enough and needs to go on pension)) But the reception girls were great! Always friendly, quick and professional- they recommended awesome restaurants and made our dinner reservations.
I have **really enjoyed ** our early morning or late evening swim in the lake and drinks on the stunning terrace with a view to die for. Breakfast was excellent. I highly recommend this hotel. Best place on Lago Maggiore! Unforgettable vacation.
It's the only 5* hotel in the area, so the lack of competition has made them complacent in the service department - not very flexible or accommodating.
Rooms are specious and have great views over the lake, but feel slightly outdated - the bathrooms even more so.
The spa area is underwhelming compared to the outside area.

Gut gemischte Getränke, die Preise passen für die Lage auch.
Absolute Top Lage mit sehr gepflegtem Garten. Leider hatte der See bei unserem Aufenthalt etwas wenig Wasser deswegen ein leicht steiniger Seezugang aber natürlich kann das Hotel dass nicht beeinflussen.
Einzig die Senderliste des Fernsehers könnte überarbeitet werden
