Nous avons très mangé ! Les plats sont fait maison et sont vraiment bons.

Arrivés à 14h25 sans réservation nous avons bien été reçus la cuisine est très bonne la cuisson du poisson est parfaite
Un peu bruyant quand le restaurant est complet mais mieux en fin de service sommes sortis a 15 h 55 .prix un peu élevé zone touristique oblige

After having dinner at this restaurant, both my partner and I are right now just praying that we don’t get food poisoning or diarrhea from it. (English version is at the end of this review) It sounds harsh but it is what it is.

我們兩個人在這裡吃過晚餐後，目前都在默默祈禱不要有食物中毒或腹瀉。

看了評論感覺不錯所以選擇了這家餐廳用餐。服務生放下菜單後，貼心地詢問了我們二人的偏好語言（德語或是英語），我們告知對方：「（指著男方）德語，（指著女方）英語，」並補充，「如果說英語，大家都能聽懂。」我們坐在戶外，這個區域服務生只有兩位。兩位的聲音非常好辨別，因此我們能清楚聽到給我們菜單的服務生能流利使用法、英、徳三種語言。

而有趣的是，每當他來到我們餐桌前，語言能力似乎退化成了只會說德語。

我在想，我們身處法國，如果不確定應該對客人使用甚麼語言，建議參考法語或英語。

我們兩個人下單了兩份前菜、一份主菜、一杯啤酒和一瓶有汽礦泉水。其中一個前菜是一盤六隻的生蠔（雖然Colmar不近海，但由於看到不少人推薦，以及另一半未嚐過生蠔一直很好奇，所以決定試一試）。上菜後我先吃了一隻，比較小但味道還可以。另一半吃了一隻，面有難色，但無法確定是否因為品質還是口味問道。我準備吃第三隻時，見到蠔肉上有些少微黃的部份，想了一想還是質疑了自己，一口吃下，毫無防備的我被變質的生蠔攻擊得遍體鱗傷。變壞了的蠔肉一瞬間在我口中對我的味覺和嗅覺的攻擊如此猛烈，我只能吐了出來。聞了一聞餘下的三隻蠔，有一兩隻能確定味道不正常，我們向服務生反映，沒有任何回應。除了在他收走盤子時，輕輕留下的一句「Don’t worry about it.」 並在同一個盤上為我們換上4隻生蠔，並說：「已經為你們洗好了」，哈哈，真是幽默！

男伴對於生蠔已經後怕，所以剩下的由我來吃掉。我吃了一隻，可以。再吃一隻，我又受到同樣的衝擊。再向服務生反映，服務生用德語告知男伴：「這是第一次發生類似事件，我們將不會收取生蠔的費用。」
（仍然是德語，也許他很渴望練習德語）

其他兩份餐點都沒有甚麼問題，男伴很喜歡主餐的魚，所以在餐點上還是給了兩星。

在我們等待主餐時，他走過來，以德語說了抱歉，並持續對男伴輸出德語。真是興幸我學習了如何用德語說抱歉，否則就無法感受到對方在送上兩盤變質生蠔後道歉的真誠。

The reviews and pictures seemed nice, so we decided to have dinner here. After the waiter gave us the menus, he kindly asked us whether we preferred German or English. We replied:”(my partner pointing at himself) German, (then pointed at me) English. So if we talk in English , everyone can understand.” And from what we observed, it was clear that his fluent in French, English and German, all three of them.

However whenever he comes to our table, it seemed like he’s lost his ability to speak English and French, but only German.

I mean, since we’re in Colmar, France. I would suggest you to consider using French or English, maybe when sometimes you find yourself not sure what language your customers use. Just a suggestion.

The two of us ordered two starters, one main course, a beer and a bottle of sparkling water. One of the starters was a plate of 6 pieces of oysters. We’re aware that it may not be the best idea to order oysters here. But all the recommendations we found, and those that was on the other tables(which was finished) made it quite tempting.

When we got our starters, my partner had one, did not like it. I had one, it was a small one but not bad. And starting from the third one, it was bad. They had gone bad.

In conclusion

OYSTERS BAD. EITHER RASIST OR SEXIST OR JUST UNPROFESSIONAL FOR THE USE OF LANGUAGE(or just shy to talk to the lady. Who knows????‍♀️). BARELY APOLOGIZED.

Eclectic restaurant in the heart of Colmar!
Service was friendly, small indoor seating but if weather permits the outdoor seating looked lovely.

The trout dish with almonds was the favorite dish of the night!!
