We stayed right next to this restaurant when we were in Colmar and we ate here twice. Both times everything was perfect. All the food choises were superb, very delicious. The place inside and outside looks amazing as well.

The restaurant is nicely located, off the beaten track. It immediately caught our attention. We chose a table, the waitress (probably the same one from previous reviews) came and asked what we wanted to order. Since one of us doesn't eat dinner so early, we wanted to order one menu of the day. The waitress got upset saying "that it's a restaurant, not a bar" and that we can't share food. The first shock. We ended up ordering one menu of the day, wine, water and a beer. The next surprise was the dish of the day. Ok, we didn't ask what it would be, but we didn't expect such fatty dishes. Maybe we chose badly, but our feelings are not positive. The pictures show the entire menu of the day.

This was a nice little place, in a small area in colmar. My family and I, especially one of my family members were looking to eat Tarte Flambé. She took a look at the menu and decided it was a good spot to eat at. once we come in, there’s one other person dining in the restaurant. A man tells us we can have a seat and hands us our menues. A tarte flambé was ordered and for me personally i wanted the Hot chocolate with an ice cream. Apparently that was not okay for me to have and i couldn’t get what i was ordering and paying for. No explination given. Then, a woman comes and asks us if we ordered, and we say no, my mom and i say we aren’t hungry and just dining with my aunt since we didn’t want a full meal, and she tells us we can. “One seat, one meal.” So my aunt orders to go. After, my aunt decides to use the bathroom, but apparently she can’t do that too because the women corners her and tells her the bathroom is for customers only, which she is a customer because she is ordering food, and the waitress says it doesn’t matter and she can’t use it. Overall, horrible experience, 0/5 stars. Maybe it’s because we are tourists but who knows. The multiple one star reviews says it all. DONT GO HERE!!!!!!

Authentic Alsace restaurant |Beautiful old building adding to the charm |Of this restaurant .|My partner said his Steak was delicious it looked beautiful large fillets ,sauces and sides |My Alsace tart was perfection |We followed with Crème brûlée |Lovely Pino Gris wine …perfect meal !|If visiting Colmar I would definitely go back .

The establishment, like other buildings in Colmar, has a unique architectural style. While strolling with my spouse after dinner, we found it quite charming and decided to check the menu displayed outside. Seeing that the price range and the cuisine suited our tastes, we decided to go in to try their desserts and coffee.

A gentleman at the bar greeted us warmly and kindly suggested a table. Shortly after, a female staff member brought us the menu. After reviewing it for a while, same waitress came to take our order, but she seemed somewhat sullen. She asked if we would like to order a drink before the meal, to which we responded with our preferences. Suddenly, she began scolding us, saying that this was a restaurant, not a café, and that we could not order anything unless we were having a meal.

Assuming she might have been going through personal difficulties, we chose not to prolong the situation and simply apologized before leaving. It was the first time I had ever encountered such a reaction from a service staff member. I did not have the opportunity to try the food, so I cannot comment on that, but those visiting this place should be aware that they might face a similar experience. Just a heads-up

Excellent restaurant au cœur de la ville ! Nous avons été attiré par l’extérieur et le côté rustique ! Nous sommes ravis d’avoir suivi ce première instinct: restaurant cosy et typique , le serveur est adorable et avenant et les plats sont savoureux et copieux . Une très belle et bonne cuisine traditionnelle ! Nous recommandons chaudement cet établissement et nous reviendrons avec plaisir lors d’un prochain passage dans la région !

Depuis le temps que nous passons devant il était temps !!! Temps pour être bien accueillis, merci encore à notre gentille serveuse, temps pour déguster des plats copieux et de bonnes qualités, pas une carte énorme et tant mieux une carte authentique, tout le monde aide, une ambiance chaleureuse, généreuse comme on aime. Rapport qualité-prix très honnête. Merci à vous tous pour ce bon moment, ne changez rien et en tant que Colmariens nous ferons de la pub. Bravo à vous tous pour ce difficile métier qu'est la restauration mais grâce à vous on retrouve les saveurs et la générosité qui parfois se perdent. Mille mercis. A consommer sans modération

Nous sommes venus de loin pour visiter cette belle région et nous voulions absolument manger une vraie bonne choucroute d'ici, nous sommes tombé par hasard sur ce restaurant en visitant Colmar, et qu'elle chance !!!
Un petit restaurant absolument magnifique, convivial, familiale très chaleureux.
Un service au top, des plats absolument divin, la meilleure choucroute que j'ai mangé, copieux juste ce qu'il faut.
Une chose est sur, si nos voyages nous ramènent en Alsace nous reviendrons sans hésitation !!
