The food was absolutely delicious, with generous, satisfying portions. Most of the customers were French, and everyone seemed relaxed, as if they were dining at a family gathering — which says a lot about the ambiance.
We especially loved the cacık and stuffed vine leaves as starters. Our favorite main dishes were the sac kavurma, chicken skewers, and lahmacun. Although they don’t serve rakı by the bottle, the glasses are poured generously — practically a double — and it was more than enough to enjoy.
Four of us ate until we were completely full, shared almost a full bottle’s worth of Beylerbeyi Göbek Rakı, and paid just around €100.
The food, the portions, the service — everything was so satisfying that we had to return the next night.
And most importantly — seeing Atatürk’s portraits proudly displayed on the wall made us feel right at home. No doubt where we stand. ❤️
