Dès le moment que vous entrez dans l'établissement vous verrez un mix harmonieux entre le style contemporain et le style manuélin.
Un acceuil chalereux vous est réservé et on vous mets tout de suite à l'aise. Le staff est super.
Concernant le petit déjeuner, celui-ci est très bon et rien ne manque, un bon mix entre viennoiseries typiques du Portugal et celles classiques européennes.
La chambre est très spacieuse, lumineuse, propre et le plafond est juste : wow.
Elle vous offre également une belle vue sur la Praça da Republica.
Le lit est grand et très comfortable.
La zone est très calme pendant le soir. On entend pas le bruit de l'extérieur.
Très bien situé car tout était faisable à pied à 20-25 minutes du Douro et 10-15 minutes de toutes les autres attractions touristiques.
Dans la zone vous avez des bons endroits pour des brunchs, des bons restaurants, un arrêt de bus devant la porte, un petit supermarché, une pharmacie juste à côté, etc.
Allez-y les yeux fermés.
I do not understand how this hotel has so good rating on Trip advisor, booking and google.
We rented deluxe room in second floor and room smelled like moldy basement. The smell that came out of old ventialtion was also horrible. After checking the room, there was mold in corners of the room. the carpet was dirty and toilet also.
we could not stand the smell of the room or ventilation, thats why we opened the window but then it was cold and noisy.
After asking the receptionist if we can get another room because of the complaints, he replies sarcasticly:"It is a pleassure to have costumers like you, I enjoy it. You get the room that you booked, and if you dont like it, call booking and cancle it."
That is exactly what we did the same day. The other hotel was perfect and for same price.
The worst experiance until now.
