First, the wifi in bedrooms doesn't work if you're using laptops. It only works on your phone. Ideally you can sit in the lobby to get work done on your laptop but not in your bedroom. otherwise don't count on getting work done while you stay here.
Second, my booking stated the room came with breakfast...no such thing was advertised or communicated by the staff.
Third, I asked about a taxi to the airport. The front desk gave me a voucher saying they have fixed rates with the taxi company for €19. The taxi came, I handed him the voucher that said €19 and he proceeded to start his meter anyway. I was concerned and asked him to stop driving. As he drove he wrote down on paper that the rate is €25. I tried to communicate to him that's not what the voucher said and not what the hotel told me. The taxi driver proceeds to yell at me in Portuguese and appears to be upset.
This budget hotel is misleading in so many ways. It deserves a lower star but the kind staff made up for it.
I would not recommend this hotel and I wouldn't return. I'd spend a little more money for a better hotel that does not mislead what it advertises. Overall poor experience.
