Our experience at Barrica has exceeded our expectations. We opted for the surprise menu and when we got there there was an envelope on the table. I opened it right away, guess I was not supposed to because then we did not get any explanations when the food was being served. Keep this in mind before opening your envelope:)
We have been told that the menu changes daily which was very impressive given the flavours and on point wine pairing. We will definitely be back!

We'd been in Portugal for 4 weeks and this small restaurant was an excellent find for our last evening. From the moment you arrive at the front door, service is welcoming and superb. The ambience is stunning and the "secret" menu is a lovely idea. We had 5 excellent courses perfectly paired with the wine flight and thoroughly explained. It's not cheap but worth every euro and we would definitely return and recommend

Possibly the nicest dinner I’ve ever eaten. The food and wine is exquisite, the music was brilliant (anywhere that plays Lee Fields is a winner). The staff were really informative and passionate about the food and wine they serve.

Absolutely gorgeous meal from start to finish, each dish was unbelievable and the level of service and value for money was second to none! You MUST eat here if you are in Porto. I would come back to Porto just to eat at Barrica again!
Would recommend 10/10 times!
