BALLARD INN

The Ballard Inn was a wonderful place to stay, all of the staff were great, the breakfast every morning was delicious, we'll be back soon, thank you!!

This was our first time at the Ballard Inn and the hotel is definitely beautiful. We enjoyed the decor and interiors of the living rooms and the provided games. Other things to note: the 24/7 tea/coffee in lobby, the sit-down included breakfast, and the included wine tasting vouchers (can use 1 per day). The rooms are cute with high-end bedding. The additional amenities in the rooms could be improved based on the cost per night being charged.

It's valid to note that the rooms are not well insulated from sound. We seemed to be very unlucky because we had neighbors playing rap music late into the night and early in the morning and the bass radiated into our room. I spoke to the attendant in the lobby about this, but never heard anything else after. I would have loved to be compensated or something for this since it disrupted our stay.

Overall a good stay. Some improvements to be made based on the 4-star criteria and price being charged per night, but worth checking out if you're in the area.

Such a quaint and adorable property! It was warm and cozy and perfectly decorated. Loved the freshly baked cookies left at your door at night and hot coffee and breakfast in the morning. Will definitely be visiting again.

Lovely serene hotel with comfortable older world type ambience. Nice rooms. Small bathrooms. They do provide wine and cheese for one hour in the late afternoon, hot limited breakfast. No chef at this time for evening dining as in the past. No pool/spa. B & B
atmosphere close to delicious restaurants, shopping, Chumash Casino for gambling or concert venue. Definitely will return

This was our 4th stay at the Ballard Inn, fabulous area and the new owners have made excellent upgrades to the hotel common areas and patios, excellent seating areas to enjoy. We received warm & welcoming handwritten cards on our bed for our Anniversary and my birthday, what a nice touch!! And of course the cookies every evening placed in our room always appreciated. We enjoyed our dinner at restaurant, Kip and the entire staff made our evening perfect!! I believe some of the rooms are likely in the midst of being upgraded, ours was a bit worn out, understandable given the changes that are in progress (the landscape crew was very quiet, making sure to not make noise, greatly appreciated) Overall our stay was very relaxing and enjoyable!
