Best campsite we had in Botswana. Great place in a fantastic area. Severine & Morgan and their staff do everything they can to ensure you have a fantastic time. From the restaurant (good food!) you have a nice view over the river with a beautiful sunrise. We will definitely come back here if we go to Botswana again.

I cannot praise this place enough. We stayed in 13 different campsites during our time in Botswana and Namibia and this was one of our absolute favourites. The location is tranquil and relaxed. The drive from Maun was beautiful (we spotted elephants, hippos etc just in the short trip). It's close enough to Maun that we were collected on externally booked trips and could drive into Maun for shopping easily but far enough to avoid the busy, noisy town.

The accommodation is spotless with so many wonderful details to make you feel thoroughly spoiled. The staff are so wonderfully friendly and helpful.

The food was just delicious. Wonderful location for the restaurant too.

We travelled as a family (2 adults and children aged 10 and 11) and felt so relaxed here. The children adored the goats which they could have stroked and fed all day.
Thoroughly thoroughly recommend. You will not be disappointed.

Really friendly place with good tented accommodation looking onto a large waterway, a good stop for travel from Maun heading north (or outside of Maun heading south).

I cannot recommend Semowi enough! My husband and I had a truly exceptional stay. Every detail had been thought of. Semowi Nature Camp is in a beautiful location, right on the river. It is quiet and peaceful. Severine and Morgan were outstanding hosts who made us feel extremely welcome. It is an absolute must for your visit to the Okavango Delta!

We stayed one night at the campsite. Ablutions are really nice. The farmgrounds are safe and lush. The food was GREAT. Everything was homemade. Even icecream. The terrace is beautiful. It is quiet in the night. So much better than noisy Maun!

Il posto stupendo, la proprietaria stra simpatica, la cena ottima, lo staff gentile e belle le caprette.

4 stelle e non 5 solo perché secondo me se la colazione inclusa è fatta di uova poi fare pagare il pane a parte è davvero poco classy, ma mi sento comunque di consigliarlo caldamente, tornerei subito!

Un accueil et un lieu fantastique. Nous sommes venus boire un verre et manger, nous avons pu déguster un bon repas et observer une nature exceptionnelle avec un accueil qui l'est tout autant.

Semowi Nature Farm is a hidden gem close to Shorobe, Botswana. The up market camp has been recently completed and boasts some very comfortable tented rooms with ensuite bathroom facilities overlooking the river. The rooms are very well appointed with imaginative colours and materials. The centre piece of the camp is the main lodge with dining and bar facilities and a huge veranda with wonderful river views of the river and the associated wildlife. It is a very peaceful place and an ideal spot to have a relaxing stay. Severine, Morgan and their friendly staff gave us a very warm welcome and made our stay extremely comfortable and enjoyable. The chef was very professional and gave us some excellent meals. We will definitely go back and highly recommend it to anyone. It is a wonderful place.

Beatifull place with very helpful staff and owner. On the other hand it is very hard to find it and get there. It is a small trial before going into Moremi :).

Severine & Morgan haben uns nett begrüßt und uns durch das Camp geführt - es gibt 2-3 große Campingplätze mit Grillplatz (leider keine Uferlage), mehrere luxuriöse Zelte mit Terrasse und Blick auf das Wasser (Flusspferde!) und ein Barrestaurant. Sanitäre Einrichtungen sind Top! Wegen der Flusspferde ist das Camp mit einem E-Zaun gesichert. Die Anfahrt ist eigentlich problemlos möglich (Schilder ab der Hauptstraße) - wer möchte kann mit Serverine Kontakt aufnehmen, dann schickt sie eine Anfahrtsskizze zu. In der Nähe liegt Elephant Havens - eine Aufzuchtstation für kleine Elefanten - wem die 70€-Spende p.P. nicht zuviel erscheint, hat ein besonderes Naherlebnis ...

Sehr schönes und weitläufiges Camp. Wir waren auf dem Campingplatz und rundum zufrieden. Schöner Ausblick auf den Fluss und tolle sanitäre Anlagen. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal.

Don’t look any further, please viset this great spot. It is only with love and care created in a very peaceful plot of land on the other side of the river. The drive there is great as you cross the streams of water and navigate trough the sandy roads. Breakfast and dinner are lovely! Suggestion, viset elephant heaven in the early morning (9.00)

We had a very pleasant stay at the campsite with everything you need. The place is well thought out and embedded in nature, the staff and the owners are very nice and debonair. Ablution is appealing and clean. Food and drinks were also great. Absolute recommendation!

You should stay here. Like seriously. They are trying their best, and the place is real worth for your money. Definitely try the restaurant, and don't forget to marvel on the sunrise from their deck. The staff is professional and nice, the manager is 10/10. The have the best chéf we have met in Botswana, a real enthusiast for his job. Thank you guys for the hospitality!

Je recommande vivement Semowi Camp. J'ai passé un excellent séjour, les hébergements (tentes avec lever de soleil sur la rivière), la nourriture, l'emplacement, le staff, tout était parfait et peut-être comme moi, aurez la chance d'y faire de belles rencontres avec les animaux du bush.. Semowi est l'arrêt idéal avant ou après Moremi/Kwai.
Merci pour l'accueil (en anglais ou/et en francais) et ce sera avec grand plaisir, que je reviendrai à mon prochain passage au Botswana.. ????????????????

Awesome camp, beautiful views of the Gomoti river. Close enough to Maun, staff very welcoming and lovely. Chef is very good and accommodated for my wife who’s vegetarian.

Semowi Farms was perfect! Such a beautiful place situated on the river.
The staff was so friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us. They even honored us with singing and dancing before eating one of Buster’s delicious traditional Botswana meals!
Severine and Morgan were the perfect hosts and gave us incredible personalized attention. We will never forget the hospitality and beauty of Semowi Farm!❤️

We were so pleased with our first visit to Semowi, that we circled back and stayed a second time. It was a discovery during our African travels that will always bring a smile . . . and a sense that Semowi is a special friend that we must visit again. We camped, but surely will return to enjoy the beautiful full accommodations they also provide.

As if the beautiful riverside setting of Semowi isn't enough to soothe the soul, the style and comfort of the facilities combined with world class dining were only out-shined by the warm and friendly staff. We can only give the highest recommendation for you to enjoy this African wilderness oasis filled with hospitality!
