they wouldn’t let me get in the pool, every time we turned on the heat the fire alarm went off, they treated us poorly

I have stayed in many Resident Inns. These people made us feel so much at home. It was wonderful. With so much negative said about Monroe and West Monroe. This will be my go to in the future for Monroe. Breakfast was personal and good.

Room is old and outdated. Refrigerator had rust all over the front. Ceiling was leaking and the room smelled of a wet animal. My room was in desperate need to have a professional cleaning.
On a good note…the morning breakfast was delicious every day that I was there. It was actually cooked food instead of frozen Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches from Sam’s Club or Costco like so many other Residence Inns I have stayed at.
The staff was also very nice and attentive during my stay.

We spend $230 for a hotel that to me was worth $50. It was grimy, carpet had holes in it, trash behind beds, cracks on walls and doors, dirty walls and dark creepy hallways. Plus the lobby door was broken so after arriving we had to haul all of our stuff all the way around the building. We were driving across the country and arrived late in the evening so we couldn’t change our plans and just slept there. But I was highly disappointed. Marriott is really going down hill. Breakfast was good though, so I’ll give them 2 stars instead of the 1 star room rating.

Absolutely amazing hotel, rooms are amazingly spacious and Daniella (I think is her name - front desk supervisor) and Nasha are some of the kindest ladies I have ever encountered! Stay here and you'll be glad you did!
