We traveled into Lake Charles, Louisiana to officiate a weekend-long basketball tournament. 8am - 915pm both days. It's no-frills but very comfy spot. Rates were affordable @ $65/night using Wyndham Rewards and the hotel was 3 minutes from the venue. Room and linens were clean and odor-free. Amenities are antiquated but they work (washer and dryer worked great) and lobby was abt 10' x 8'. Tiny. The staff seems to be a family and are kind and friendly but cautious (maybe a high crime area?) Family vacation-no; a clean comfy spot to sleep and shower-yes.

Management is very nice and friendly. The location is in a very quiet and safe neighborhood. The building is old but the rooms are updated and clean. We didn't wake up with our backs hurting. We didn't have any complaints. Fresh coffee in the lobby. Would definitely stay here again.
