We can't say enough how much we were pleased with our brief stay at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Lake Charles! We needed a place to stay at the last minute and they were so accommodating and kind. The staff was friendly and helpful and answered any questions we had. We usually book a king suite room and they are ok but sometimes the couch or chair they provide aren't always that comfortable and the rooms aren't that much bigger - but here at Lake Charles the suite was so roomy and we felt like we could move around and truly relax. We were right by the highway but we didn't hear much traffic noise at all. The breakfast area was clean, well stocked and the kitchen staff was so friendly. We would highly recommend this Holiday Inn Express & Suites to anyone traveling to or through Lake Charles!

Friendly Guest services.

Also had security guard who looked over the place especially in the evening.

Breakfast and Wi-Fi ok.
Bedding ok. Bed a bit soft.
Convenient to highway on our route TX to FL
The window let in too much noise. Road noise, motorcycles and truck noise is awful! Outside noise very continues late into the night! The room door gaps let in too much noise and light.
Loud air handler and bathroom vent
Very loud refrigerator.
Blackout curtains don’t close all the way. Parking lot floodlights hit right in our faces in the bed.
Old building. Funky smells.
Tub extremely slippery and dangerous!

Checking in was a breeze, location easy to get to and breakfast was hot and bacon was crispy. Have stayed there before and will stay again when passing through.
