Room had a dog smell and the carpet in some areas was torn. That said, they did have a great breakfast for the price!

The location of this hotel is excellent. Near the Mall of Louisiana and several restaurants, but that is where the excellence ends. This hotel is old and the rooms look as such. There was dust everywhere including the bathroom vent. There were old contacts stuck to the mirror when we arrived. The bed slept terrible and my husband and I paid for it dearly. We made the mistake of eating breakfast at the hotel one morning (see picture below) and I will never eat breakfast at a Hyatt again! The housekeeping staff did not clean the room properly and you could hear them yelling at each other about tasks each morning. Hyatt please do better. Honestly, I will never stay here again and recommend that anyone reading this review do the same.

Rooms are nice and roomy but no microwave in the room. Why? You would think that for a room like this, since you have a fridge, you would have a microwave. Breakfast was good but a bit cold. Breakfast served from 0600 - 0900. You will need to get breakfast early or it will be cold. Convenient to the mall, which is right across the street, straight shot. Getting back to the hotel from the mall is a little tricky. I gave service a 5 only because the people I dealt with were nice and friendly. No attitudes. Did not have to use room service. The view from my room was of construction behind the building ????

Easy check in, easy check out , clean rooms, clean atmosphere , very quiet environment. Not a bad price ,We will go back.

Hyatt has always been our first choice to book when staying out of town until now. We have stayed at this location at least 10 times over the years and had a great experience, so we were sad to see how dirty/run down our room was. There was old food/stains on the floor near the vanity, a huge stain on the couch, and mold/dirt in the shower/bathroom. Also, the water flow in the shower was minimum and the air conditioner was inconsistent in maintaining the temperature. We were constantly taking covers on and off all night and therefore, did not sleep well at all. Although we could have asked for another room, we didn’t because we figured if they were willing to put us in a room of this condition, the others rooms must not be any better. It’s unfortunate to see such a great hotel go down. I’m a sure we will stay at other Hyatts in the future, but not so sure about this one.
