Was given keys to someone elses room when I first arrived. Rooms were clean but not spotless.

Clean room. Hospitable staff. Near Mall of Louisiana and many restaurants.
The complimentary breakfast needed to be hot but sufficient as far as variety.

If there is one review that you take heed to, let it be this one. I am currently on the last night of my stay here and to say it has been extremely disheartening and disappointing would be an understatement. My wife and I have enjoyed staying at Hyatt Places for years. Breakfast is always good, front desk service friendly and the room service impeccable. However that has NOT been the experience here at this particular Hyatt. Room service has been a complete and utter mess. Every 2 days, only a replenishment of towels. No made bed. No toilet paper. There is an African American lady who is on the cleaning staff who is unfriendly and surly as hell. The breakfast? Watery eggs with a few limp pieces of ham. No fresh refills. No waffle batter. Just not up to the standards that you would expect from the Hyatt. The smell of weed permeates the halls and the hotel rooms. Only one elevator works. Stay elsewhere!!!!!!!!!!!!

My father and I stayed there 2 nights, and both got bedbug bites all over our bodies. My father has been with Hyatt for 40 years, and I've been staying at Hyatt's all my life, and this is totally unacceptable! We have talked to the world of Hyatt and this location and over 2 weeks now and have not Hurd a word! We both highly recommend the Hyatt brand but not this location! The guy who checked us in was fantastic, though!
