I have been a loyal Marriott customer for over 11 years. I made a reservation for this coming Saturday for my parents. The total cost for the room was $265. Today, I called to ensure that my parents were on the reservation and could check-in. I have done this exercise countless times. However, today, I was told my rate was increased to $296. The reply to my question why was I added two more individuals to the reservation. I replied I was not staying in the room. There would be only two people in the King size room. Today Marriott failed miserably at customer service.

Stopped here on my way to Houston. It was convenient. Lots of shopping, fuel, and restaurants in the immediate area. The staff was very friendly and prompt. The facility was clean and the room was comfortable. We were all awoken by a fire alarm at 10:30 pm. Not sure so or what set it off, but we all evacuated the building. It took about 40 mins for the FD to check things over and release us back inside. Needless yo say, it took a long while to get back to sleep. I’m sure this was unanticipated.

Although this is an older hotel, the room felt clean and didn't have an old feel to it. However, the lobby, elevator, and common areas were not clean and needed to be maintained throughout the day. I was on the second floor and could hear guests walking around. Also in the morning, I could hear the alarm of another guest going off from my room. The hotel is in an excellent location and is within walking distance of a few restaurants.

Unfortunately, I am giving this hotel a 2-star rating due to safety concerns. When I returned from dinner, I found that my door key did not work. To reactivate my card, I had to go to the front desk, and the lady at the desk did not ask for any ID. I only gave her my name, room number, and key, and she reactivated my card. This is a major safety concern as it puts guests at risk.

Great stay. Great location. Great room, great customer service, and the best egg white fritatta with arugula and avocado. The beds were comfortable, and pillows were ok, but better when I got some foam pillows. Great gathering area for business in the lobby with lots of tech areas for laptops and such. I didn't use the pool, but it looked clean and well kept, Didnt use the gym, but it looked well appointed. Loved the wonderful clean and relaxing scent in the air throughout the hotel. Overall, it was a great stay all week.

Front Desk Employees are terrible at this location.. its a Dated Courtyard in Covington. I'll skip this place on my next visit because they are just nasty to customers.

Great place to stay! Clean, everything but the elevator. The best staff, from check-in, through food, towels, and finally, check-out. Polite, courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable! I can't give enough stars on the staff.

Upon arrival they said they only clean the room every 3 days due to Covid which is just them not wanting to go there job cause on day 3 it wasn’t cleaned not bed made up when I told the first she did that they said they did I offered to go check it out she refused. Finally on the last day I ask for washcloth since they never cleaned my room she said they we all out of washcloth. The price you pay for the room and can’t get washcloth. I don’t think I will deal with them anymore I feel they are unclean.

Very nice stay here. We thought the pool and hot tub were freezing though. We didn't eat anything so can't comment on that. But the room was clean and it was quiet. Shower in our room (no tub).

The location was the only positive point to be said about this Courtyard. It was across the street from many restaurants, a Walmart, and allowed easy access to the highway. It was helpful as we stayed here for a small wedding in Mandeville.

However, the only help we received was from the front desk who assisted us well. On the day of our checkout, room service came around at 9:42 and knocked. When we opened the door the lady said, “Yall still here?” Ummmm. Yes. Checkout is at 11. She rolled her eyes and moved on. Did not appreciate the attitude or address.

The rooms were in poor shape and it wasn’t a great stay at all. We wouldn’t return since it wasn’t the cleanest place to stay with a 16-month old.

A beautiful hotel, clean, comfortable, convenient. The Night Manager was awesome. She brought us bedding for the sleeping couch, among her other duties. The only disappointment was the hot tub was cold as well as the pool. It is indoors so that helped, but we had bright our 5-yr old granddaughter here as a birthday treat. One of the things she wanted most was to swim. We did get in the hot tub and pool, but it was chilly and couldn't stay in long.

We paid ahead for breakfast included and the property wouldn't honor it, even with proof. Housekeeping only comes every other day, and bed didn't even get made.
