Located in Old Mandeville, just a block away from the beautiful lakefront of Lake Pontchartrain, is this gorgeous guesthouse. Its location is conveniently placed so that multiple shops and restaurants are in walking or biking distance. Its surroundings have a quiet small town charm straight out of a movie. The room was very clean, well-decorated, cozy, and comfortable. The self check in was simple and easy. I most definitely recommend Guesthouse of Girod, and I hope to stay there again myself in the future.

Wonderful suites attached to their home. Lovely decor and a very comfortable bed. Short walk to the water, restaurants, brewery and the Tammany Trace Trail. Thanks Michael and Rikki for your help with my passport.

Stayed here 6/30-7/2 2023 in #1 Everything was just perfect! Superior Ambiance and location! Room was so clean, comfortable, and relaxing. Property well maintained. Walking distance to lake and many wonderful shops and restaurants in Mandeville. Our friends booked next door to us so the private courtyard we shared was a plus and very enjoyable in the evenings.

A beautiful little place perfect for two, or one. Walking distance to many restaurants and shops. An absolutely wonderful weekend getaway. The owners are wonderful also.
