Cuando estaba por realizar mi viaje estaba buscando tours, y ellos muy amables me dieron respuesta de costos y acerca de mis dudas, cuentan con varios tour por lo que puedes elegir uno para diferente día, ademas los tour cuentan con alimentos, normalmente desayuno y comida, y siendo honesta los lugares de comida son muy buenos, ellos pasan por ti a tu hospedaje y también pasan a dejarte en tu alojamiento. Si tienes duda de tomar tour con ellos, no lo hagas, es muy buena opción si vas por primera vez a Costa Rica. Ademas los guias tambien son muy amables y accesibles.

El mejor tour que tomamos en Costa Rica, tanto Martin el guía como Fernando el conductor, amables, cultos, buenas personas. Nos sentimos muy seguras y además el tour fue una belleza. Cuando regresemos pediremos todos los tours con ellos. ¡Muchas gracias!

We booked and paid for two tours, the Combo Tour and The Authentic
Rainforest Experience for three people. My wife became ill so was not able to join my granddaughter and myself for the Rainforest tour. Although I understand the 24-hour cancellation policy, they could have accommodated us with at least a partial refund for the third person cancellation due to illness.

Nous avons pris un forfait demi-journée avec une visite d’une plantation de café et visite du volcan Poás. Notre guide, Donald, était excellent , il connaissait très bien tous ces sujets. Il nous donnait des explication détaillées sans hésitation ni bavure, félicitations à ce guide, sans lui le tour n’aurait pas été si instructif.

So I’m visiting CR next month. I’m sitting here trying to think of a tour company to book a couple of excursions with. I remembered Expediciones Tropicales having booked with them on several visits to CR in the past. I once walked in the office to book a trip. Great experience each time. Just trying to figure out what to do this visit.

Our group of 4 booked the Poas volcano, Dona coffee and animal rescue tour through our hotel. It was serviced by this company and it couldn’t have been better. Adrian and David were great. Adrian impressed us with his vast knowledge and his ability to translate to Spanish and English in the moment, even if a question was unscripted. We had a surprise rain storm on the volcano that continued for hours, so bring rain gear! The shuttle was extremely clean and nice as well. Great service!

This trip was well worth the price! The Class 3 an 4 rapids were very fun and required full paddling power from everyone in the raft, but not too scary!( We are a couple of active and fit Seniors and we did exceedingly well)Our guide Francisco was full of Exuberance about the area and the river and shared his passion with us. The Pacuare river is a very special natural flowing river through an amazing rain forest. We paddled through canyons and several wagerfuls- just beautiful. There were opportunities to jump out and float too! We had an inpromptu back flip off the raft party!
The river borders on an indigenous tribe conservation land and it was so interesting to learn about this tribe and their existence on the old ways and new ways.
Breakfast was served at a hill top restaurant with a very nice view and generous portions. Lunch was prepared by the guides themselves over a fire in a big thatch hut alongside the river! Yum!
The trip ended with cold drinks and a photo show of us!
The Mercedes tour bus was very clean and comfortable! Francisco pointed out the highlights as we wound around the mountain roads.
It was a fun and exillerating day.

I can't recommend this company enough. We booked a two week tour through Expediciones Tropicales. I did it in advance of arriving in Costa Rica and Alejandra was really helpful, responded promptly to my queries and talked me through the itinerary on the phone. The hotels that she booked were all great and the drivers and guides were incredibly informative and friendly. All the arrangements worked seamlessly and was stress-free. It made for a fantastic holiday in Costa Rica.

Our driver Jose went above and beyond to make our trip amazing. We went with all of our significant others and he stayed with them the whole time to make sure they were safe. The peace of mind that you can expect with Expediciones Tropicales is invaluable. Cannot recommend more highly. Best trip ever, mostly due to JOSEE JOSÉ JOSÉ JOSEEE, JOSEEEE, JOSEEEEE. Our driver José was fantastic! Reliable, kind, and easy to reach. He had some great local recommendations to check out too. We felt like our group was in really good hands; José truly went above and beyond to make sure our trip was excellent. I would absolutely recommend Expediciones Tropicales!

About 20 of us rented a bus and driver for 8 days from this company, and I highly recommend them. Both the driver, Jose, and employee who helped book, Alejandra, went above and beyond with their professionalism and service. Great experience, reasonable cost, and can't wait to hire them for another Costa Rica trip!!!
