Host was very kind and accommodating.
Location was good

Plusieurs bungalow avec ou sans kitchenette. Nous avions un bungalow à la décoration de Pavones. Très joli. Lit et sanitaire faits tous les jours. Petit-déjeuner complet. Transfert A/R compris dans la prestation. Une belle piscine vient agrémenter le tout.
Petit bémol : un mini réfrigérateur serait un plus dans la chambre.

Just finished our 17th visit to Salines. It is as good today as it was the first time we visited. The hosts, Lawrence and Jean-Phillipe are wonderful and, as 30+ year residents of the island, know everything there is to know and share it with their guests. As repeat visitors we appreciate the updates such as which restaurants are new, which closed, and which while still open have suffered setbacks. With only 5 rental units, we are spared the “hub bub” of the larger properties on the island. The mix of guests whether from the US or Europe is always interesting during the simple “continental breakfast” or sitting around the pool with a glass of rosé after a day in the sun. St. Barth, for many reasons, is the best island in the Caribbean. In addition to the many beaches (each with its own personality and charm) we particularly enjoy the “French” environment and food. This ranges from the elegance of L’Esprit or the Beef Bar down to the pizza at Isoletta. If there’s a bad meal to have on St. Barth I have yet to have it. Going to Salines Gardens is like “going home” for a tropical week during the cold Northern Hemisphere winter. And we’ve already booked our trip back for the winter of 2026.

Saline Garden is a great value for lodging if you are planning a trip to St Barths. It is centrally located on the island, 5 mins to St Jean, 15 mins to Gustavia and couple of minutes to the beaches.|Cottages are simple, clean and well kept, the plunge pool is a great spot to spend an afternoon with others guests. Be aware there are a few mosquitos late in the day and early morning at breakfast around the pool area, but it did not distract our stay.|Jean-Philippe and Laurence were good hosts and accommodating on any request.|Glad we chose this location to stay on our first trip to St. Barths.

I stayed at this property solo for one night. The linens and bed were so comfortable! I loved my little cottage!. The A/C & Wifi worked great! It was a short walk to the Salines beach & a great dinner at Tamarin. The fresh breakfast pastries were delicious. My only problem was the ferry I was arriving on was delayed so I missed my included ride to the property and waited around the dock until I finally got a taxi. I wish I had received an email so I knew what was going on. I did not have phone service so connected to Wifi on the dock. The owners drove me to the main strip for shopping and airport on my way home which was nice. I wish I was able to stay longer and would definitely go back !

This place is so cute and quite, only nature sounds. Like a small cute jungle around the pool.
Location is great.Close to everything with a car. The whole island is small, like 15- 20min drive from one part to the other.
The only think that I didnt liked here was the host who was not really pleasant, but Im still giving 5*.Hope he will work on that in the future.
The breakfast was ok, the rooms were clean and nice.

One star goes just for the host. Place is nice , cozy, but the host was not pleasant at all, rude at a time and makes you fill uncomfortable.

Laurence and Jean-Phillip were spectacular hosts. The cottage was sparkling clear and comfortable, with daily cleaning service and a small breakfast in the common area with coffee, breads and juice.
The cottage is close by (5min and 10min driving) from the best beaches in the island, Salines and Governour. We highly recommend this place!

Bel accueil par les propriétaires, bon échanges permettant de se sentir accueilli et finalement de regretter le départ!|Intérieur simple, bonne literie, bonne clim, kitchenette extérieure bien équipée.|Un véhicule de location est nécessaire. |Quelques moustiques, mais sans plus, donc gérables!||Petits dej simples mais corrects !

Salines Garden is beautiful and has a special atmosphere. You get an authentic Saint Barths experience. The cottages are large and well equipped. We will definitely come back.

Encore un séjour au top !|Jean -Philippe et Laurence sont très accueillants et bienveillants.|Il règne une ambiance conviviale et les soirées commencent souvent par un apéro avec les propriétaires et les invités : un super moment d'échanges et de rencontre.||Je reviendrais sans hésitation pour mon prochain déplacement pro sur St Barth !!!

Un séjour parfait !|Tout est réuni, le cadre, l'hébergement, le confort, le calme, sans oublier l'accueil et la gentillesse de Laurence et Jean-Philippe. |Une adresse que je conseille sans hésiter.
