I went on a two-day trip with Sea Kayak Oban. It was a fantastic experience, with an excellent guide who took us to places I would never have the confidence to go on my own. Absolutely Brilliant!

Had the pleasure of paddling with these guys for second time.
Booking process was straight forward, all pertinent info supplied in advance.
Meeting up on the morning, the weather didn’t look great but Laura and Phil had a sheltered route for us already planned. Geared up and away, a small group launched from an idyllic spot near the Cuan ferry.
For an inexperienced paddler the guys were absolutely brilliant, explaining exactly what we would be doing and why, dealing with the small patches of exposed weather/ conditions.
As the group progressed we got to know each a little better and had some really good conversations as we proceeded along, interspersed with facts and little stories of the area from Laura and Phil.
The location, the way they dealt with the conditions/ weather were all fantastic. I personally had a back issue and the guys were great in dealing with it, advising me and chaperoning me through.
Couldn’t have asked for a better day, better location or better guides. Thank you both for a great day.

Very enjoyable experience, after which was absolutely exhausted and desperately in need of fish and chips! Phil was very knowledgeable and took some great photos of us out in the bay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two days paddling with Phil. As we were staying on Luing, Phil planned our routes to maximise the opportunity to paddle around these beautiful islands, sharing his extensive knowledge of both the geological and social history of the area adding to that a healthy understanding of the local flora and fauna. He inspires confidence with his calm approach.
I would highly recommend him as a guide and look forward to paddling with him again.

My daughter and I had a sea kayak experience day recently with Phil as our guide. It was a great day all round and can thoroughly recommend. We were inland the whole day so no rough seas to worry about but a lovely experience paddling around the shore spotting wildlife.

We loved our day out sea kayaking - our instructor was patient and encouraging, and helped us get the most out of our experience. We had lunch on a beautiful beach and even got time for a short walk when we stopped again in the afternoon. A perfect beginners sea kayaking trip.

Did a confidence builder 2 day course in September. Great professionally run kayaking centre. Oban area has everything to offer for those learning from beginners to advanced. From calm waters watching wildlife to challenging conditions for the more experienced. I learned so much in 2 days, very rewarding. Great instructor was encouraging and made learning experience feel safe. Looking forward to more days up there next year.

A hugely valuable course with a very strong empasis on safety, which taught a variety of skills with ample practice time coupled with continuous coaching from a very capable instructor. I would thoroughly recommend this organisation and would happily use them again.

I was a little trepidatious about this experience, but I have to say I'm so pleased we did it. Mark was a fantastic guide and shepherded us all well whilst allowing us to experience what this pastime had to offer.

Just the best day - from biblical downpour to flat calm and sunny in the space of 3 hours with brilliant support from our guide, Phil.
Great equipment and advice.
