Enjoyed a lovely relaxing stay in January 2024 with my Husband. We booked a tremendous 'Winter Warmer' dinner, bed and breakfast deal. The food in the Bistro for both dinner and breakfast was delicious, service was attentive, thoughtful and friendly.
Check in and out was smooth and efficient. Hotel staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful at all times.
We stayed in a standard room with ensuite bathroom. The room was spacious, comfortable and quiet, though there was some renovation work going on at the time, this was done with consideration and did not disturb us.
The hotel is located in the heart of Edinburgh's old town, an ideal location for Greyfriars Kirkyard, The Scotland National Museum and within easy walking distance of the Royal Mile.

Ce petit hôtel non loin du centre historique a su préserver son authenticité les chambres sont très confortables est décorée dans l’esprit écossais. Le personnel est juste adorable et très serviable n’hésitez pas à dîner au restaurant ou siroter un cocktail au bar. Merci à toute l’équipe de cet établissement très professionnel

Reception were friendly, Albert was great.
Very good breakfast and decent bar.
Close to everywhere we wanted to go, 5mins from the Grassmarket and Edinburgh Castle.
