We use Radisson Blue hotels a bit more these days, as our son is at Uni in Leeds. We booked this one for our Edinburgh trip as the standard is always good and it did not disappoint. The staff seemed extra friendly too, but maybe that is a Scottish thing as we found this a common theme across our weekend. Special mention should to to Archie, for being extra helpful with our questions on venues for food and drink.
If you are planning a visit to Edinburgh and want a calm, pleasant base to work from, then this hotel should be on your short list - not least because the location in the middle of the Royal Mile cannot be beaten!

Imagino que depende del plan de viaje que lleves, pero para nosotros, la ubicación del hotel era perfecta, lo mejor de todo. Está en plena Royal Mile, rodeado de locales chulos para tomarse una cerveza y de puntos de interés turístico.
El personal es muy amable, pero se echa de menos alguien que hable algo que no sea inglés, la verdad, en una ciudad como esta.
Las instalaciones están muy bien y las habitaciones son cómodas, pero vimos algún detalle de falta de limpieza que no nos gustó: papeleras sin vaciar después de pasar el personal de limpieza, sábanas que no se cambian después de dejar nosotros una mancha por accidente y cosas así.

I was using the sleeping beauty spa here for 6 weeks as my normal gym was getting renovated. The staff Leon, Alex and all the girls working were really nice and friendly. The swimming pool, sauna and steam room facilities and gym are all amazing to use and I would recommend anyone to join here. Very reasonable prices. Lovely towels, sunloungers and a good range of beauty products! Would highly recommend this gym and hotel to anyone. Great city centre location. The restaurant upstairs also has the best food and drinks and the hotel rooms have fabulous views of the centre of Edinburgh! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Pretty chill business hotel - basically a Premier Inn with a small pool, sauna and steamroller. Decent evening meals, usual awkward vibe hotel bar - very friendly staff, totally over priced DO NOT pay extra for a room with a view, you will open the curtains to find 70percent of what's behind them is a WALL and the view is of zircon ducts and a ladder, felt totally ripped off.

Perfect for sightseeing along the Royal Mile. 10 minutes walk from Waverly Train Station. Great welcome from front office staff.
Room was well equipped and clean, although the bed was a bit too soft for our liking.
Nice shower,but water did spill on the floor due to the screen not being secure against the bath.
Restaurant has the best chocolate torte in the world!!!???? The curry was amazing too. Would definitely return again for a few days getaway.

The hotel is fine. However, as Radisson reward client, you get a bad comment on arriving too early. Moreover, it is not possible to get the single positions of the final bill. Even after three!!! times of asking, Radisson cannot tell us, how the reward points are rewarded or to which amount they account! The proposed rewards as Radisson reward client for beverages were not given. This is not what we expected from Radisson! Two stars are the maximum. It seems that the Radisson in Edinburgh has no necessity to meet clients' requirements. We paid around £600 and! 87000 points for two nights and the details of this amount are not clear to us. This is highly dubious!

Staff at check in and breakfast buffet very helpful and nice
Location is walking distance to all main atractions in Edinburgh, walking distance to waverly train station, and a twenty five minute drive to airport.

Faultless. Everything about this hotel was excellent. Staff so good: exceptionally attentive and helpful. Large room. Earplugs supplied, but it was very quiet at night.

My partner and I booked a spa day and afternoon tea here, not staying overnight but thought it would be important to let others know that if they’ve paid for the spa, not to expect much of a relaxing time in the pool area. Our visit was spoiled by the revolving door of parents with their young children, screaming and jumping into the pool constantly. At times it felt more like a leisure centre than a spa, which was a shame because we had a really great massage from the excellent masseuses followed by a very pleasant afternoon tea in the upstairs restaurant. The spa staff were also very friendly and helpful. If I could go back, then I likely will have complained and asked for a partial refund, as we weren’t told at the time of booking that the spa was open to children. It’s definitely a point I will make of checking on future spa bookings, but hoping to save others the disappointment we felt.
