María en recepción fue muy agradable y nos dieron una habitación muy amplia, el desayuno muy bueno, puedes además seleccionar platos que te los cocinan al momento. No nos queríamos ir.

Fantastic hotel for our family stay in Edinburgh. We had a huge family room with bunk beds which were tucked around the corner so slightly separate which can be unusual in a family room. Delicious breakfast with lots of choice of hot and cold options. Staff were friendly and welcoming and the unending supply of Tunnocks teacakes in the reception were an added bonus! Excellent location with restaurants and shops nearby and an easy walk through parks to the centre or use the excellent and frequent bus routes with stops just a couple of minutes outside the hotel in either direction.

The staff were welcoming and helpful. The room very clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were excellent, a vast array of fruit, nuts, cereals, yoghurts, meats, beverages and juices or a cooked choice with the staff ready to take your order. The hotel is a short distance from town but there is on site parking and a bus service passes the door. I was very happy with our stay and would happily return.

La chambre sentait la cigarette en rentrant, finition moyenne pour un 4 étoiles mais ça passe!
Au petit déjeuner, le premier jour, nous sommes tombés sur une personne antipathique qui n'a fait aucun effort pour nous aider étant donné que nous ne parlions pas l'anglais. Il faut dire que ça c'est arrangé dans les jours qui ont suivis et que la dame en question s'est détendue.
Point positif, le petit déjeuner est copieux et très bon!

Schönes Hotel mit schönen Zimmern. Wir hatten ein großes Zimmer in der 2. Etage mit Aussicht auf den Park. Obwohl das Hotel an einer größeren Straße liegt, bekommt man davon nichts mit, es ist sehr ruhig und gemütlich dort. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung. Es gibt klassisches kontinentales Frühstück. Zusätzlich besteht die Möglichkeit sich noch Eierspeisen oder auch typisch schottisches Frühstück zu bestellen. Das Personal ist sehr höflich und man fühlt sich im Hotel sehr wohl. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut. Zu Fuß ist das Zentrum bzw. die Altstadt gut erreichbar. Aber auch mit Bus ist alles gut von dort aus zu erreichen.

A lovely hotel for our stay in Edinburgh. Bruntsfield was a little bit of a walk from the main hubbub and touristy areas, but we liked that this enabled us to find some really lovely cafe/ restaurant gems out of the centre of town. Plus it was easy enough to walk through the park or down the road to get to various areas in Edinburgh.

The hotel itself was nice, the room was a good size (Executive) and came with everything you need.

We slept well on the whole, the walls are a little thin so we were woken up by other guests on occasion. This was only really a problem on the first night where there was a function on downstairs, and the noise of the guests leaving at midnight was quite loud!

Only other negative to note was that the shower was very weak. I had to hold it quite close to my head to wash out the shampoo which after four nights was getting a little old.

We enjoyed the coffee machine that came with the room, and the tunnock tea cakes in the reception area!

We would recommend this hotel for others planning to visit Edinburgh in the future!

Old world charm by World Hotels. Great location. Within walking distance to little shops and restaurants. Across the street from a park and not too far to all down to the Royal Mile.

Muy recomendable, personal muy amable con predisposición a ayudar. Muy limpio, cama muy cómoda. Desayuno variado y exquisito con cocinero que elabora unas tortillas maravillosas. Hotel muy bien comunicado, servicios de autobuses cada 10 minutos, en 10 minutos andando se llega al centro.Repetiremos sin lugar a dudas.
