Great location- about 20 minutes walk to Edinburgh centre or less than 5 minutes walk to the nearest bus stop.
The Guest house was lovely. We stayed on the top floor which had a nice view. The room was good for two people. Free WiFi in the room and even just outside the front door. The manager was really helpful in everything we needed. It was in a quiet neighbourhood that felt quite safe. There were many dining and coffee places nearby as well as supermarkets.
I would definitely like to stay there if in Edinburgh again!

I enjoyed staying at Menzies Guest House and found the owner to be both knowledgeable and friendly. The only nitpick I have is that our room was on the third floor and it would be nice if a small window air conditioning unit could be installed during summer. Other than this it was great, ... and close to the center of Edinburgh. I would stay again and recommend to others.

It was a really nice stay. The bedroom is clean and nice and I slept very good. The service is incredibly good and the host is very nice!!
You have to share a bathroom but that's no problem for me.... and the house is gorgeous and in a good location from the old town (20 min walking distance)
If I am visiting Edinburgh again I'll stay there

a small, quiet and typically Scottish house where we could rest and enjoy the neighborhood. a bit far from the historic center but the park and the places around are lively and local. the owner was accommodating and allowed us to check in early. very good experience

Im vorfeld habe 3x versucht via email kontakt aufzunehmen, leider keine antwort bekommen. Zimmer war eigentlich ok, jedoch leider nicht sauber und wurde auch während des aufenthalts nicht gereinigt. Betten wurden in 3 Tagen nur einmal gemacht und das nichtmal alle sondern nur eins. der Boden war recht krümelig und wurde garnicht gesaugt. Frühstück wurde nicht angeboten, obwohl es auf Bilder zu sehen war (Anfrage per Email wurde ja leider nicht beantwortet). Das Fenster war defekt, da das Zimmer im Erdgeschoss war, hatten wir bedenken ob jemand durch das Fenster kommen könnte. Wir würden leider nicht nochmal kommen.

Stayed for one night and loved it!Not far from the centre. We got the castle by walk in 10 mins. It was our bad not to book for 2 nights but come back %101. Highly recommended

Jesteśmy zadowoleni z pobytu. Wi-Fi śmiga, telewizor działa, czyściutko i to nawet bardzo. Wszystkie sanitariaty, pościel, ręczniki. Świeże i pachnące.
Czajnik, herbatka, kawa, mleko.
Wygodne łóżka, romantyczny, wiktoriański sznyt.
Bardzo miły gospodarz- zostawiliśmy bagaże na cały dzień po wymeldowaniu, dostaliśmy nawet klucze.
Ładna okolica, trochę knajpek na śniadanie.
Naprawdę polecam.

Halbe Stunde zu Fuß vom Castle. Gastgeber super nett! Frühstück war Continental und würde aufs Zimmer gebracht. Parkmöglichkeiten auf dem Hinterhof. Kann man dort bequem die gesamte Zeit stehen lassen und Edinburgh zu Fuß erkunden.
