A unique experience. Sir Cran was a friendly host, all of our requests were genuinely answered. His music evenings are such a great thing! ???? You can learn a lot of Scotland and its tradition. He plays original scottish music. Really amazing! ???? I am glad that I booked his acomodation. ???? Sir Cran, thank you for everything, cheers! ????

A great place to stay for location. Rooms are a bit small but clean and served their purpose. Breakfast is a simple continental breakfast. Staff is very helpful and accommodating. Most of all, we enjoyed the evening music coupled with the videos and learning experience. Recommend for a reasonable stay!

The location is great as well as the breakfast. The personal is very friendly. Almost every night there is a Scottish music performance where you can learn more about the culture ????

Lovely spot on a quiet street in Edinburgh. Walking distance to many restaurants and pubs, and points of interest. Parking was easy, and the house smelled like fresh hyacinth and spring flowers when we walked in. The room was modest, yet comfortable and quiet. We had to leave early in the morning, so we did not have breakfast, but it was great to catch Alan playing music in the evening.

我住过很多Guest house， 从来没遇到这么有情调的。老板是位苏格兰歌手，他给自己安排每周二，周四会跟客人互动，表演，没想到让我们家赶上了，三人间，包早餐，还有苏格兰音乐会，太值了

We verbleven in The Averon Guest House van 16/02/24 tot 19/02/24.
Dit Guest House wordt uitgebaat door de vriendelijke gastheer Alan Cran.
Op zaterdagavond zong hij Scottish Music begeleid met zijn gitaar. Op groot scherm kregen we beelden van de stad en omgeving te zien. Hierbij gaf Alan ook tips over hetgeen er zoal te bezoeken is.
We verbleven op een familiekamer. Dit was een gezellige kamer met 1 tweepersoonsbed en 2 éénpersoonsbedden. Het was er lekker warm en de douche was ook aangenaam warm.
Om de dag goed te starten was er een ontbijt met appelsap, melk, thee, koffie, geroosterd brood, kaas, jam, ontbijtgranen, cake, bananen,...
Het gasthuis ligt op 15 minuten wandelen van Haymarket Station, Princess Street en de Golden Mile.
Bij Haymarket Station kan je de tram nemen richting zee.(+/- een half uur rijden).
In de omgeving van het gasthuis zijn er lekkere restaurants (o.a. Guru = Indisch en Little Bear = Chinees) en 2 supermarkten.

The Scottish music session in the evening was the highlight of our trip. Very relaxing and we got some nice historical information. All ages can enjoy it, so I strongly recommend it

Hola!! El mejor hotel para sentirte como en casa cuando vengas a esta ciudad. La cama increíble, agua caliente, nada de frío en la habitación, ningún ruido molesto… Todo genial, por no hablar del fantástico dueño y los demás trabajadores, súper simpáticos y educados. Si venís, debe ser una parada obligatoria ir a ver al dueño tocar música y escuchar toda la historia del hotel y Edimburgo. Y no me olvido del desayuno, muy rico todo y no te quedarás con hambre. Precio-calidad 10/10!!

Ha sido una estancia estupenda. Hemos pasado tres noches y no hemos podido estar más cómodas. Las habitaciones son super cómodas y acogedoras, además se está super calentito.
Los trabajadores son encantadores, muy atentos y considerados.
La noche de concierto nos encantó, ya que Alan, que es el dueño, canta muy bien y nos enseñó un montón de cosas típicas de Edimburgo.
El desayuno está genial, muy completo y muy rico todo.
Por último también decir que la localización está muy bien y se puede ir andando a cualquier parte.
En resumen recomiendo totalmente este lugar, volvería sin duda.????????????????????????????????????????☺️

Al centro andando hay aprox 20 min.
Estuve 3 noches y el señor Alan nunca tocó....
Son agradables, pero no mucho jajaja cordial.
El desayuno MUY SIMPLE. Literal: cafe soluble, té,leche (fria) y zumo. Pan tostado con queso o mermelada y mantequilla todos los días. Cereales y fruta. Nada mas.
Para mi, en la habitación hacia frio. Llegas congelada y la habitación esta fría... por la mañana te levantas y hace fresquito...
Alojamiento BASICO (muy basico) no tienes posibilidad de calentar/cocinar nada...
Estuve 3 noches y el señor Alan nunca tocó....

The carpet of the room was wet and dirty. We found garbage from the previous guest under the bed and they never cleaned our room or changed our towels during our 5 days stay. They entered the room and just changed the garbage bag. The breakfast was really poor. Also you can hear everything that’s happening in the rooms beside and the corridor.
