This has been an amazing stay for me and my fiancé. Lydie is amazing and made us feel very welcome and she was incredibly helpful. The room was nice, the view was good and the shower was amazing. It is definitely far from city centre, but we enjoyed our walks. Lydie even recommended a route through the park which was perfect and we took that every single time afterwards.
I have been to Edinburgh before where I went to the Waldorf hotel. Of course it's two completely different experiences, but if you want to experience the coziness and the true experience of Edinburgh, I would recommend Albyn Townhouse 10 out of 10 times!

Great place to stay-lovely well maintained house, quiet road, beautiful rooms, great host, secure parking and a short walk into town through a nice area. Was perfect for a long weekend. Would recommend and will certainly be back!

Tipptopp, sehr süßes, gar nicht mal kleines Zimmer (wir hatten #3), bestens gepflegt, gute Lage , mit dem Bus nur wenige Stationen in die City. Edinburgh übrigens auch eine super Stadt für ein Wochenende…

So ein schönes Haus. Die Inhaberin Lydie betreibt ihre Unterkunft mit viel Liebe und Herzblut und sorgt dafür, dass sich ihre Gäste wohl fühlen, als würde man bei einer Freundin übernachten. Die Lage ist perfekt, schön ruhig und trotzdem erreicht man das Zentrum entspannt zu Fuß, in der Nähe gibt es viele gute Restaurants. Wir kommen gerne wieder und buchen das nächste Mal auf jeden Fall direkt, ohne Zwischenhändler.
We really enjoyed the charming house, our big room and the neighborhood* itself. Lydie really created a hidden gem (and more) and has some nice insider tips, so don't waste your time and book here!
*A school is around the corner, so better drink a pint or two more during the week to have a better sleep. ????
