A unos 20-25 min andando del centro. Se puede coger un autobús (23 o 27). Muy agradable. Baños algo antiguos. Keiko es muy atenta. Durante nuestra estancia no pudimos desayunar en la guest house porque la persona que se encargaba de ello tuvo que marcharse. El problema es que es difícil encontrar cafeterías abiertas a primera hora, a partir de las 9-9:30h empieza a haber más cosas abiertas.

Ardenlee guest house is perfect for a comfortable holiday in Edinburgh. It is close to Stockbridge (one of the most beautiful areas of Edinburgh in my view) with cafe and restaurant. Not far from Dean village too. Only 15 minutes from old town, easily reached with bus (1 minute from the guest house). Keiko and his husband are absolutely lovely and friendly. The rooms are classic / old style and I loved it. It was comfortable and I had a lovely view.

Was skeptical at first, turns out to be a great choice!

The room was exactly like the pictures. Clean & spacious, price is relatively low among Edinburgh. Nice & neat area, felt safe during the entire stay as the front door could be access by guest only.

Self check-in was simple, friendly owners that were easy to reach by phone. Breakfast was great too!

Chambre très grande, charmante et typique. Assez éloigné du centre mais tout de même bien placé. Propre et l'accueil fut sympathique.

Stayed in the single room with a shared bathroom. The room itself is nice enough with a comfortable bed, a sink, and a table. It looks out onto the road but road noise was never an issue. Some extra amenities like hand soap for the sink would have been appreciated though.

The shared bathroom was alright apart from the shower being very oddly designed, nothing that'll impact the shower itself but just led to a bunch of water splashing out and when other people didn't clean up, the bathroom became a bit messy.

The location isn't great if you're just walking or taking public transport. Edinburgh bus routes nearby weren't very frequent, and getting there from and going to the train station takes a bit longer than it should. The neighbourhood had an alright selection of eateries with one slightly upscale convenience store/market.

I booked last minute so I can't speak to value.
