We stayed here for 4 nights. The breakfast was excellent and the rooms were beautiful and tasteful. They were very friendly to us even though we were not good at English. I would highly recommend this place to Japanese people.

Absolutely lovely stay. Lizzie and Gary were extremely accommodating to a late check in, questions prior to arrival and personal recommendations to specifics in Edinburgh. Breakfast was delicious, the whole space was quaint and everyone in the family was very friendly. I brought my brother for a long weekend to buy a bespoke suit jacket and he used their recommendation for a tailor which was perfect. We stayed in a triple occupancy room and it was perfectly comfortable for two fairly tall people to share. All around wonderful.

Lizzie & Gary sono molto accoglienti e mettono a proprio agio. La guest house è molto vicina alla fermata dei bus che conducono al centro in pochi minuti (per chi è abituato a camminare, il centro si può raggiungere anche a piedi). La guest house è curata e familiare allo stesso tempo; le camere, seppur un poco piccole, sono accoglienti e molto pulite. La colazione è top (tradizionale ma varia, fatta in casa e buonissima)!

Wir haben ein wunderschönes Wochenende in Edinburgh verbracht und sind um so froher dieses Wochenende in dieser Unterkunft gewohnt zu haben. Wir haben uns direkt wohl gefühlt, die Gastgeber waren herzlich, das Frühstück prima und das Zimmer sauber wie auch stilvoll eingerichtet. Wir können diese Unterkunft wärmstens weiterempfehlen!
Reasonably priced and friendly hosts that give you a taste of Scotland hospitality. I recommend it!
