Ben Cruachan is a beautiful guest house situated in New Town, Edinburgh. Ollie and Mirella were incredibly accommodating, kind and generous hosts and were there to greet us on arrival. Our room was large and modern with a view into stunning gardens and a large bathroom with double sink and a spacious shower. The breakfasts are delicious and feature multiple courses, tea or coffee and orange juice. The scottish porridge, full scottish breakfast and pancakes should not be missed - scrumptious! They also offer a range of Tunnocks goodies complimentary. If you can't make it to breakfast because of an early tour or flight, they make a little package overflowing with yummy foods, juices and coffee in a can to make sure you don't miss out. I would highly recommend Ben Cruachan to anyone looking for a home base in Edinburgh.

This was such a lovely place to stay. It was clean, comfortable, and a great location. Ollie was outstanding and really looked after us, from making sure we could find our way around the city and keeping us comfortable and filled up with delicious breakfasts!

We spent two nights at Ben Cruachan and loved it so much! Room number 2 is just simply beautiful and even bigger than you would expect from the pictures.
The guesthouse is located in a more quiet area but still close to all the sightseeing spots in Edinburgh. Ollie is the best host and helps you with everything. Breakfast can be chosen from a variety of options. We tried the Scottish breakfast, the Salmon breakfast and the Continental breakfast. All of them were great and come with porridge and drinks (coffee, tea and juice). They also have a nice garden in the back of the house.

An intermate well appointed guest house beautifully decorated. Rooms were well appointed the bed and pillows were very comfortable and aided in a great night's sleep. On suit facilities good. Breakfast was excellent (try the porridge????????) the full Scottish (english????) was delicious and just right to set you up for an Edinburgh trek. Thank you Ollie and staff for a great fringe/tattoo weekend. Will definitely call again.
