Poor customer service. After we order, directly asked us to wait outside of the store three times. However, it is extremely cold outside this time, it is unacceptable in this case. And the waiter said “ if you do not mind…”, we do mind to wait outside considering the poor weather.

Buzzing and busy place we ended up here because of the rain. Service was fast and friendly. I got a pork belly and my friend the pad Thai. The pork belly was nice and soft, while my friend said the pad Thai was tasty but it was too oily.

not lying when I say it’s the best green curry I’ve had since actually being in Thailand. Ting Thai is a must-try in Edinburgh in my opinion. affordable too, but it can get super busy!

I sincerely did not enjoy the Pad Thai, which is a bad sign for a Thai restaurant. The taste was very sweet and not spicy at all. The flavours were totally unbalanced. The other dishes might be better but I would recommend that you avoid the Pad Thai.

Tasty food, a little annoying that they serve the noodle dishes in takeaway boxes when you’re eating in. The deep fried eggs were delicious! The restaurant was very loud as it was busy and there was loud music playing

Oh Ting Thai what happened?! We used to LOVE this place. The food was always super fresh, really authentic and delivered a proper punch of Thai flavours. Our food tonight was the opposite. Totally flat, badly executed and bland. Why the sad accompaniment of limp salad on everything? Everything seemed to lack its usual zing! Service was ok but they forgot a Tom Yam soup and drinks orders were slow. Seemed that Deliveroo orders were taking precedent over serving people in the restaurant. I hate that. Hopefully an off night and not a terminal decline but we won’t be rushing back sadly.

Uns hat es hier so gut geschmeckt und wir fanden die Preise so fair, dass wir entschieden haben, gleich an drei von fünf Abenden in Edinburgh hier Essen zu gehen. Ja, es ist meist voll, aber dennoch ist das Personal immer freundlich, das Publikum immer jugendlich und entspannt - die Atmosphäre immer angenehm. Vor der Tür mal ein paar Minuten zu warten lohnt sich. Keep on!! :-))

Arrived as a party of four, seated almost immediately as we got through the door. The drinks order was taken and delivered promptly by smiling attentive staff.
It was our first time visiting this establishment and it did not disappoint!
Our order was cooked to perfection and again, delivered without delay.
No fault could be found but the biggest shock was the bill - all four main meals, with various accompaniments and drinks came in at less than £70.
Phenomenal!
If ever you’re in Edinburgh, craving Asian/Thai food, DO NOT pass up the opportunity of visiting this restaurant.

Went there three times, tried three different dishes, and it’s just really really bad. The meat is overcooked way too much (yes I tried beef, pork and chicken dishes, they are all extremely overcooked). The meat isn’t cleaned and prepared properly, as in there is still a strong animal smell if you know what I mean. Had one of the soup noodles, the broth is bad, at least I didn’t like how it taste, very sour, does not pair well with the dish entirely. The service was okay, I can tell the staff are doing their best, but front of house is understaffed.

Went for a quick lunch after class. Quick service and delicious food. I got one of the small boxes and a cup of coconut rice and it was the perfect size.

Visited many times and never been disappointed. Fast paced, street food style dining, that’s reasonably priced and flavours that bang! If you’re after particularly attentive service and higher end dining, then no it’s not the place, but it doesn’t pretend to be. Great option in fringe time when you you want to eat and move on to shows. Pad Thai always good, as are the curries and it’s a menu I want one of everything from each time we visit :)
