Très bien situé, joliment aménagé et nettoyage des chambres efficace et impeccable. Pour le reste les chambres sont petites, sans rangement, à la déco vieillissante, les espaces communs en sous-sol sans lumière naturelle, le jardin peu accueillant. Le service inexistant, sans direction. J’ai payé un supplément pour vue sur jardin : il s’est avéré que cette chambre est encore plus petite que les autres. En changer s été une âpre négociation et jamais il ne m’a été proposé le remboursement du supplément. Plus de 230€ la nuit, cela s’approche de l’arnaque.

Gorgeous hotel, fabulous decor, very friendly staff. Very centrally placed for San Sebastian. Highly recommended.

We were kept awake until 4.30am due to a party taking place in the room next.

Stayed for 3 nights in the room with garden- and river view. The interior design is nice to watch at, but also not practical or well thought out. We felt they put the most tiny garbage can in the toilet, so you have to make your own garbage-corner. We didn’t find out how to use the midget chair in a comfortable way. Also the dwarfish desk had been only in our way, we were running against it a lot of times. Maybe this is why it was already crooked from guests before who experienced the same. Things were falling of it. The shower was big, but nothing to put your shampoo on. Also the thing to put the showerhead on, was falling down all the time f.e. in the night, when we were sleeping. No privacy when you go to the relatively big toilet, in our room you couldn’t even close the glass door completely. As well as the glass door from the shower, it was mostly half flooded after. You can hear everything from your neighbors and the other way around. The „garden“ is small, but nice. The river is in the same direction, but it’s more a view at the pedestrian-boulevard/street. You know the river is there, but you can’t see it. One night a big tourist bus parked next to the boulevard and cooled down the whole bus for almost one hour which polluted the surroundings with emissions and noise. We only met the receptionist when we checked in - very friendly person. The cleaners did a great job, are friendly as well. But still we think the value for money was not justified. It was the most expensive room we booked in our whole vacation. Don’t recommend for couples, although the location is good!
