Wonderful location right near conference center that is a very short walk. Close to lots of restaurants and it is nice to be right near the stadium as well. Rooms are very nice with comfortable bed. Service was excellent. The free drink coupons was a nice touch.

A very nice hotel and very friendly staff. But low level rooms facing the railroad tracks are very noisy. And on two different days I tried taking a shower in the late afternoon after working out and there was no hot water.

We love staying at the Omni because of the private entrance bridge that connects to Petco Park.
It's a beautiful hotel with beautiful views. It's always immaculate and smells wonderful.
Staff is always very friendly.

Apparently the key card machine was not working, so hotel staff had to escort everyone to their rooms and open the room doors for us. Yet we were charged the same price. Very bad look.

The staff and overall hotel were great and the customer experience was awesome. The construction was a bit rough as my room was right below the one they were working directly at that time. Possibly limit the rented rooms as construction is occurring.

As a member of a committee planning a conference here, we have been throughly impressed with the chefs menu choices and quality of food. Everything is made from scratch. Being able to meet the varied dietary needs and restrictions of our international and US based attendees is a high priority for us and the staff here at the Omni. We continue to look forward to working with them.

After we booked and paid a deposit on our reservation, days later we were told that the pool, jacuzzi, and bar would not be open due to renovations... Unable to find other accommodations, we decided not to cancel... Checked out on-line, and saw the invoice was for $1253.44 for the two night minimum... When I got the bill
from my credit card company, saw that the OMNI charged me $1333.44... why the $80.00 difference..? And also a $30 daily "Destination Charge".... Why wasn't this disclosed when we originally booked the room...? I feel this is deceptive business practices.....

The best hotel in San Diego in my opinion. Service is wonderful. Rooms are spotless. Great location across from yhe convention center and next to the baseball stadium.

Rooms were very clean but the only downside was that our room had a broken water line to the sink which leaked water all over the bathroom floor. The shower faucet knob was closed super tight because the faucet was also leaking. The fitness center only had one working treadmill. However, the staff were super friendly and kind and helpful. They responded quickly to the bathroom issues. The hotel was right near the train stop which made it very convenient for traveling and everything was nearly within walking distance.

Good location across from convention center but rooms are old and worn out.
Construction noise all day. Train noise all night.
Staff is less than helpful. Had to ask to get room cleaned on a 7 day stay.

I have not even arrived yet and am dreading my stay. When I booked last fall, they were out of the conference rate on the last night - a $208 bump. I got a text yesterday that said the pool, jacuzzi, and lounge would be out of commission. When I called today - 3 days before arrival - I asked for accomodation on price and/or credit. I have a cancer patient husband coming and thought he would have amenities while he hung out in the hotel. I got a hard no. Nada, nothing at all. He could walk to other properties to use their facilities (rain in forecast). I was also told the conference should have told me there would be reno's. The Omni should have been explicit on the major amenities impacted. It'll be my first and last stay at an Omni, I said. And, she hung up. I will expect nothing less than perfect in every other way with our stay. I'll update this review after - the good, the bad, etc with pictures.

What a beautiful hotel to stay at. We got a lovely corner room that faced the port in the harbor. The view was spectacular. The service was above reproach. Anything requested was made available in under 10 minutes. The food and the drinks downstairs was so good.coffee in the morning, baked goods to the restaurant and bar at night. It was all very nice.
