I recently stayed at this wonderful hotel in San Diego and was thoroughly impressed. The rooms were spacious, beds incredibly comfortable, and the availability of toiletries and amenities was excellent. The highlight was the convenient bike rental, allowing me to reach the conference center in just 5 minutes. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating, making check-in and check-out a breeze. The snacks and drinks were delightful, and I felt safe and secure in downtown and Gaslamp throughout my stay due to the convenient location of the hotel. I would definitely return for a longer stay if I have the chance to visit San Diego again. Highly recommended!

Decent hotel in the lively Gaslamp area. Stayed for 9 nights and staff interaction varied from ok to excellent. Allocated a bigger room on check-in which was appreciated. Only issue was with the lift. One morning on route to a breakfast reservation the lift closed but wouldn't move. Had to hit the emergency button and ended up being trapped. Took a while to resolve and was pretty terrifying. Managed to get out but the only member of staff was housekeeping who only spoke Spanish. Really wanted to find the stairs but couldn't due to the language barrier. Risked the escalator again which thankfully was ok. Did get a sorry and was asked for our room number. I thought this might have been to add some sort of good will gesture for the incident but this was not the case. So in summary beware of the lift / elevator!!

We had a great experience at our stay in San Diego. Perfect location for downtown and to see a Padres game. The front desk employees were all very friendly and helpful.
Next stop Stay Pineapple San Francisco!
