Great spot to stop by on the way to la jolla. Had delicious breakfast, pastries and drinks. Cute little inside area. Unfortunately when we went it was raining to seating was limited but tons of spots available outside

Incredible and affordable breakfast spot with only limited outdoor seating. Very cute and country theme. I had a bagel sandwich which was great. They have a decent but small coffee bar for creamer, chocolate, or cinnamon. Good and fresh coffee. Scones looked incredible but u didn't buy any. Next time!!

I love this place! The bread and pastries are fresh, delicious and super cheap. A combo is $10 & comes with plenty of food. The service is always polite and prompt & there is plenty of outdoor seating. The only cons are 1) there’s no indoor seating and 2) the soups are just okay. Otherwise, a great, cheap cafe!

Someone said that the scones here were “average” and boy do I wish that was true because they are AMAZING - truly the best I’ve ever had. Even my husband who says he doesn’t like scones loved these. (I really wanted to try the almond croissant which looked absolutely fantastic but I couldn’t not get a blueberry scone.) My mocha was also delicious. Very nice folks running the place and a great atmosphere with regulars coming and going.

Very average coffee house. Went there this past weekend, ordered Mocha and Americano. Both were very watery and tasteless. It has a nice seating area outside. I will probably won’t go back.

Good Product with no good service and good service with no good products are both bad business.
Hi, I stopped by this place around 9:am to give this place a try and asked if they baked their pastries that morning and the answer was “Yes. We bake all of our pastries every morning.” I got exited and ordered one almond croissant and a cappuccino. Unfortunately, Some business don’t hesitate to insult their costumers intelligence with zero regards. My almond croissant was at least two days old to become as dry and hard as it was but my cappuccino was great.
I think It’s always a better choice to loose 15 old croissants than loosing 15 costumers a day. I took back the croissant and asked them to give me a fresh one!, they said they are all the same and insisting they were all baked that morning with no apologies!
With all due respect to those who give this coffee shop a 4 or 5 stars perhaps never been to one!. I hope your experience will be better than mine. Thank you for reading my comment.

I always get the BLT on sourdough and a cup of soup! They are generous with the ingredients and for a good price. Also the desserts are delicious

Love the dirty chai latte here! The pastries are also delicious. I got the veggie sandwich and enjoyed it. Shoutout to Rafa for wonderful customer service. We will be back!

It was my first time in the area and we stopped by this cafe and I’m so happy we did. I ordered an iced vanilla chai with oatmilk and a croissant, very very yummy. Service was very nice and knowledgeable about the drinks when I asked about the chai. This place is worth trying, I love the seating as well, a place to sit down, relax and enjoy the sun.

Such an awesome cafe, always filled with regulars from the moment they open! The team is fast and efficient and their baked goods are delicious, especially the cinnamon roll. Great prices here too.. I'd say they could even raise them ;)

Coffee is solid but could use a little more flavor in the beans. Prices are reasonable. Scone is moist and packed full of blueberries but if you like a little dryness or crispiness you will miss it. Service is incredible.

Star my trip wit a very long late travel.. but .. the right side of it was see the early morning in la jolla, have a very tipical and very good breackfart at brick.
Nice and smart the owner, good and right the breakfast, tornero!
Dopo un viaggio lungo ed estenuante con ritardi pazzeschi, la cosa buona di questa situazione è stata arrivare alla lolla prima dell’alba, trovare un posticino delizioso per fare colazione, i brick lo è stato! Proprietario gentilissimo location molto carina, e soprattutto colazione all’altezza di una tipica colazione americana bellissima per comiciare il viaggio
