Kebab Shop is my go to when I'm in the gaslamp. 5 stars in all categories.
I was a little disappointed they discontinued the meatballs but I had the Kafta and it's actually better.
Doesnt matter if you like a wrap or a plate both are exceptional.
The manager is a cool dude as well. Always very pleasant and on top of his game.
Fair warning, it takes like 10 or 15 minutes for the steak so be patient when you go there and order a freshly cooked skewer of meat.

Excellent blend of Greek and American, their gyro burritos were really good. The food was fresh. And decently priced. I would recommend.

January 2024 Update: We stopped in for a late dinner and food was amazing as always. Falafel was great and I always love the pita wraps. Service was friendly and efficient. This is our favorite Kebab Shop for sure. Try the spicy hummus!

Always a good place to grab a quick meal. Maybe the food isn’t as fresh as some other Mediterranean restaurants but for fast food it’s always dependable and tastes great. I love the red sauce and the garlic yogurt with my beef and lamb wrap. Try adding the spicy hummus - it adds some nice flavor.

Good service but the bowl I got was 80% greens and 20% chicken at most. Total scam not worth going at all. I had to make food at home to even get enough protein.

Great food and service. Atmosphere is basic tables and chairs. Kinda funky little place. Been to better atmosphere places where the food and service sucked. I will be going back to The Kabob Shop...

Brilliant little kebab shop! The wrap and crave fries are next level! The staff are very friendly and welcoming, and despite the shop being busy the food was cooked and delivered in a timely manner. If you’re ever in the vicinity I would definitely recommend!

The staff and food are great. I rarely give restaurants a good review but what else can I say for an establishment that has excellent service. I got a combo and I thought it was too pricey so I changed my order and they in some free bread. It's rare these days to see the younger generation work with integrity.

Fantastic service, great food, very good value. We came from out of town and this was our first time visiting. We were pleasantly surprised to find a server who was extraordinarily friendly and even gave us free fries and an entree (another customer didn’t want what they ordered). Got the kofta kebab and the lamb doner— both were great, though we preferred the kofta a bit more. Salads were fresh and flavorful. Hands down would come back here again.

Cashier said they didn’t have anything but falafel while I watched them make chicken and lamb wraps. Pretty sure they were just over it because she also said we have been working all day non stop, as if that merited not getting more ingredients out of the fridge.

Great halal option (craved lamb beef only) if you are craving doner in SD! The wrap is huge but in my opinion the ratio of lamb meat vs other fillings is less so I added extra protein and it was just perfect. Good guys at the counter.

Pls be aware beef IS NOT HALAL, only lamb and chicken are halal. Its even mentioned on their website if only i had paid attention. Other than that food is fantastic. Im giving 3 stars just because it should have been mentioned clearly at their locations that their beef isnt halal otherwise i wouldve given 5 stars.
