Amazing breakfast place

Food and service was excellent but the menu and odd charges turned $14 chilaquiles into $25. It was the normal items usually included, like eggs, avo, sour cream, etc.. probably wont eat here again. Check out receipt

Bacon Flight. I don’t think I need to say anything else. All kidding aside. Great service great food. Consistently excellent experience at this restaurant.

I never write reviews but wanted to share my experience. I put my name in for a table of 3. My friends and I went to walk around while I waited for a text. Eventually, I got one that said "you have reached the front of the waitlist at Cheeky's, please head over to the restaurant." We immediately started heading over. 5 minutes later, I got another text saying I was no longer on the waitlist. We called saying we were 2 minutes away and they said no problem, but when got there the hosts gave us SO much attitude.

She explained that "the system" removes your name after 6 minutes, which was never communicated. Also, I received the text after 5 minutes, not 6. I used to be a hostess and we would send a "make your way back to the restaurant" text, and then another text shortly after saying "your table is ready, you have 10 minutes to confirm." They are two different texts. If you truly only have 6 minutes left, that needs to be stated explicitly.

We were pushed back to the top of the waitlist and waited a bit longer, only to eventually be sat at the bar. After all that hassle, the food was just okay. My brussels sprouts frittata was so dry and had a weird flavor to it. I tried my friends' food which tasted good but overall, we had a bad experience.

Delicious! I got the heirloom tomato tartine, which was extremely fresh and the egg was cooked perfectly. My husband got the chilaquiles, which he also loved. We shared the bacon flight, which was fun, unique and delicious.
