This place is a must stop for us on our yearly trip to Solvanf. The breakfast is absolutely amazing. The ebleskivers are amazing but the Danish sausage is to die for. The staff are all absolutely wonderful. One waitress has been there for 20 years if not more. Absolutely amazing place.

Wonderful breakfasts two days in a row. The servers were kind and friendly. All of the meals were delicious. Aebleskivers are NOT donuts -- think of them as pancakes -- which were served with raspberry jam. Not quite like Grandma's, but really good! And, for diner coffee, Solvang Restaurant's was pretty good.

Appetite struck while strolling through Solvang.

Decided on Solvang Restaurant. There was a wait but seated fairly quickly.

Once we were seated, we started off with mimosas, served in individual mini champagne bottles and delicious orange juice.

It was brunch. So we got the sausage platter and the Danish Dip (French dip).

The food was flavorsome. The Sausage platter gave us a variety of flavors (the red cabbage was delicious) and the sandwich filled the belly.

The ambience and service of the restaurant overall was very attentive and welcoming, definitely recommend coming here.

Also don't forget your Æbleskiver.

Best ice cream you can have! The Dutch black licorice was spectacular and truly memorable. Ingredients imported from Denmark and served by the people who actually made it.

Stopped by the take out window to get an order of the aebleskiver pancake ball dessert. They were just as described, a pancake ball with raspberry jelly sauce and some powdered sugar. These were premade and they had a stack of them. Biting in, they have a hollow sort of center. Nothing too out of the ordinary but still a fun thing to get.

Service was fast. The atmosphere was casual.

We did a quick stop in Solvang mid-afternoon, and were looking for a place still serving breakfast/brunch, and this was it! They serve breakfast all day, the menu says, at least until they close at 5pm, and except for regular pancakes, for some reason. I had Aebleskivers and my friends had waffles and everything was completely delicious! Service was friendly and attentive. We'll definitely come eat here again!

La comida fue excelente y el staff muy amable y súper rápido. Tuvimos que esperar 40 minutos para entrar ya que hay mucha fila en fines de semana. Pero un paseo por las tiendas cercanas hace que se pase rápido y una vez que entras, disfrutas mucho. Venden un libro de recetas y las herramientas para hacer su plato icónico. Y también venden mermeladas y otras cositas de recuerdo.

I always respected a small businesses and preferred small restaurants over the chain restaurants. But there are always exceptions and this place is one of them..
If you want to wait a long time and not to be noticed and served - that’s your place. Waited for twenty minutes for a server that never came.

Super little Danish restaurant in the middle of a Danish recreated town! The food was yummy, not elaborate but authentic! The Æbleskiver's were splendid and my open face sando's were good. The servers were friendly and attentive and parking was free. The nearby shops were pretty cute too, fun way to enjoy an afternoon and get some delicious food, fair prices too!

Stupendous aebleskivers, which are essentially pancake balls with powdered sugar and lingonberry jam. Perfect texture and temperature. Delicious coffee to pair with it.
