The atmosphere and service is great, but the food is just outstanding. Had the Bahn Mi with a Ginger Lemongrass Lemonade. Both the drink and food were super flavourful. The house salad has beets, peppers, and a light dressing, my absolutely favorite house salad. Must eat here.

Ein schöner Abend wie bei Freunden! Wir -eine kleine Familie mit 2 Kindern- hat es auf Grund der sehr guten Google Rezensionen hier her geführt. Und dazu kann ich nur sagen, dass unsere Erwartungen nochmal übertroffen wurden!
Wir haben einen Tisch reserviert und sind über 30 Minuten zu spät gekommen. Obwohl wir an diesem regnerischen Tag die einzigen Gäste waren hat das komplette Team die Stellung gehalten und auf uns gewartet!
Die sehr nette Frau die uns an diesem Abend bedient hat war sehr freundlich und hat noch Zeit für eine charmante Unterhaltung gehabt.
Die Qualität der Speisen war deutlich über dem Niveau was sehr viele amerikanische Restaurants zu bieten haben! Alles frisch zubereitet und sehr pfiffig gewürzt. Unbedingt ein paar der hervorragenden Vorspeisen bestellen und teilen.
Zudem gibt es unzählige tolle Biere direkt vom Fass.
Zum Abschied ist noch der Manager persönlich gekommen und hat uns das Gefühl gegeben, dass es ihm wirklich gefallen hat uns als Gäste hier empfangen zu haben.
Kommt einfach hier her wenn Ihr was gutes und gesundes essen möchtet und das in entspannter Atmosphäre!

The burger was very overcooked, the crispy chicken sandwich looked good but didn’t taste great. The onion rings were doughy. Disappointing food overall.

Amazing little place inside the shopping mall! Food is outstanding and service is great. Loved their selection of local draft beer. Great coffee porter. Pea pesto pasta was delicious, light and fresh, with lots of pesto, peas and sun dried tomatoes. Way better than most Italian places. Burger was tasty too, cooked medium and served with well seasoned fries. Definitely recommend!!! ???? ???? ????

정말 맛있게 먹었어요! 요리다운 요리를 먹는 느낌이었습니다 50대 부모님 모시고 갔는데 부모님도 맛있게 잘 드셨어요~ 특히 사진 속 샐러드와 스테이크 요리가 맛있었어요 사진에는 없지만 와사비 새우 랩도 맛났어요 샌드위치는 빵이 딱딱하고 거칠어서 비추입니다 직원도 모두 친절해요!!

That house-made ketchup... wow. We had nachos, Diablo fries, and the acropolis burger. All of it was incredible. The pickled onions and peppers were perfection. Our server, I didn't get her name, was my favorite. Thank you for a lovely interaction and the laughs!

Looking for a spot to eat and we saw this place. It had a great rustic atmosphere and great dishes. We did the swordfish Tacos and grilled swordfish sandwich. Also, I order to go some Mac and Cheese. The Pesto Pasta forget the full name was great my family loved the freshness, and the savory taste, and finished their plates. Overall great experience. Come check it out.

I have nothing bad to say about THE Curious PALATE. Food was AMAZING. I ordered the California Burger which is usually a go to for me but this burger was fantastic. It was cooked perfectly. The crispy fries were so delicious and their homemade garlic aioli is to die for. The servers are so welcoming and the vibe was perfect. Location wise could be a little out of the way but there are signs leading right up to the place. Would come back next time i’m in Santa Monica!!!

Love the atmosphere and the music. The food was good but there are some key points to take note of. The tortilla soup was distinctly lacking in salt to bring the flavors together and there were FAR too many carrots. It cam across very bland initially until I added a lot of salt. The Big Curious Salad was very tasty and the dressing light but flavorful. I added beef skewers to the salad and those skewers were AMAZING! Please note that the online photos show the big curious salad with avocado and clementine, that is not the correct photo as the big curious has neither of those ingredients. All in all an enjoyable meal.

We got the squash blossom tacos and the chicken satay sandwich to go. All the food was amazing and Linkan was super sweet + gave great tips on what to order based on what we were feeling. Squash blossom is soooo good.. melt in your mouth cheesy and the portions were a good size.

Sooo glad I found this place! My boyfriend and I wanted something casual for Valentine's Day without a pre-fixe but still good food. This restaurant was excellent and far exceeded our expectations - especially for the price. The location is kind of odd as it's on the top floor in a mall, but it's not "mall quality food" whatsoever. Our waiter told us his dad, the owner, goes the the farmers market every week to pick up fresh produce. You can tell a lot of love and care went into this restaurant and I needed to post this review so people know to go here!

If you want something new (to you), fresh, and sophisticated (but not over the top) please give The Curious Palate a try!
Damn this was good food! And like the name, The Curious Palate, you should have one when you come here! You will be wowed and leave happy and well fed.
Kid friendly and dog friendly, this place deserves ALL the business!

The Curious Palate, like so many non-chain businesses, was hit hard by the pandemic. Additionally the theater next door went out of business because of the pandemic. Their foot traffic has decreased very dramatically, with their location now being rather out of sight, out of mind. It is a real shame The Curious Palate faces these struggles, they don’t deserve it and the food is too good to not be making more curious palates happy.

I have never been more pleasantly surprised by a dining experience. In a world full of mislabeled "healthy" foods, and buzzwords like "organic", food choices can be misleading at best. As a person who works hard to sustainably raise our own livestock to feed ourselves and provide a quality product for others, I am wary of any restaurant that boasts "Farm to Table." I have never been fed such fresh and amazingly delicious food that didn't come out of a home kitchen! The effort and thoughtfulness put into each dish was incredible! Do not miss the opportunity to support this business. I would recommend it 100%!

Delicious food, excellent service, casual, friendly atmosphere. We were a large group and the servers had everything well under control. Homemade pasta really great; veggie sides perfectly cooked - everyone enjoyed their meals. (This was a return visit and we'll go again.)

Curious Place has left the best impression!! Great hosts, delicious dishes, beautiful presentations, and lots of wine selection!! I recommend it to everyone for a great brunch on the weekend!!
