I've been coming here for decades. The food never disappoints. It's filled with flavor, there are tons of options for every one of your picky friends to get something they really want. I have to eat gluten free so being able to pick so much food can feel pleasantly overwhelming! The gf chocolate chip pancakes are a dream! The tacos will punch you in the face with flavor. The spring rolls are fresh & crunchy with great dipping sauce. The atmosphere is calm & pleasant (unless it's the dinner rush). I love this place!

Fantastic vegan breakfast. We had the “greens, eggs (tofu) and (no) ham. Definitely recommend!

I live in the valley and was having a late morning meal in WEHO with a friend. I usually eat at Hugo's in the valley. It's breakfast so the two of us are not expecting a 5 star meal. Our food arrived cold, we nicely asked to fix. They tried. Three minutes later, it arrived and we realized they warmed the food and the poached eggs were no longer poached and pancakes had no bananas and were dry. The two of us had a $80 bill (before tip) for 2 entrees, a short stack and 2 coffees and it's breakfast. That's not how any of this should work. Our server was cool, though.

Always a great time at Hugo’s. Had the Pasta Papa which was fantastic and the green juice which is one of my favorites. definitely recommend for anytime of day and any occasion, true LA classic
Only thing which needs upgrading is the service, not sure if the staff is overwhelmed or just poorly trained, frequently they would forget about our table and I’d have to stand up and go to them about taking our order, knapkins, getting the check, retrieving our card, etc. but when the food was ready, it was delivered immediately so that’s great.
Highly recommend.
