They’re Bloody Mary is amazing

When my group came the young female greeter said, "Ew, going to make me sicky," with a disgusting look and stuck her tongue out in disgust.

We were at the bar, bought a bunch of food and drinks, and then were told that our table was next door to the restaurant.

Then, when we got to the restaurant. Right when we got there the waitress asks what drinks we wanted, we literally just got there and then she starts going, "anyone ordering drinks? anyone ordering food? NO?? no one's ordering anything?!?"

we didn't even have the chance to look at the menu and she quickly assumed we weren't interested in buying anything when we didn't get a chance to even think or settle in.

Then we were told by that female waitress that we had to leave because it was trivia night, and there was a table for us near the bar, despite our wishes to stay for trivia night.

We walked BACK to the bar, and there was NO table. We found a spot outside on the patio, and the chairs were NOT SET UP and WET. The fireplace wasn't on we had to ask for that.

So here we are, pulling a stack of chairs and setting them up for our party outside on the patio with wet chairs. Yup, we set up our own chairs.

Once we were settled we bought more food and drinks.

We had a large group of people and two people, one male, and one female, come out probably working there... and said, "Love that you're having fun, love that for you. Love that. Love that. love that. love that. We're TRYING to pay attention to trivia so keep it down!" extremely passively aggressively. I couldn't understand what the other guy was saying.

It was such an unwelcoming experience. I would not spend another cent here. The people are stuck up. The food & drink overpriced. Legit the service doesn't want to serve you, greet you, seat you, or want to let you have a good time even after you paid because of trivia night?!?

Take your money else where, so you could deal with higher quality people.

Really cool place!!! Wasn’t my initial destination but ended up walking in and enjoying happy hour, which goes from 3-7pm. Cozy atmosphere and very hip.

I was looking for a spot to grab lunch while visiting Los Angeles, I couldn’t find anything that felt cozy until I found the guest house! Perfect for what I was looking for.

Farinda was our server and she brings in all the good vibes! Yet the food was delicious. The place itself gives you classy and elegant vibes. Truly a nice spot to eat and hang out. Will be coming back again.

Mediocre at best. Much better options in the area, as it's comically overpriced for the actual experience both here and at home next door.

What a cute spot!! It’s right next to Home so you can have a drink and an appetizer while you wait for a table at Home. Great vibe and all the quality you expect from Home next door.

Food places we chose while our stay here was not pleasant.
This spot was by far the best food we had! I had the chilaquiles added Chorizo sauce was spicy chips tasted fresh. I cleaned my plate out boy! Best breakfast I've had in about 4 months or so. I'm mexican and i approved of these chilaquiles. They're just gourmet!
Service was outstanding, you can call and reserve ahead or check in with the nice fellow out front.
Don't guess. Be a guest at the Guest house.

We LOVE The Guest House!! I've been there individually for brunch during the day and it was lovely and charming. And most recently we had our holiday party hosted by The Guest House and it was amazing!!!!

The staff at The Guest House is wonderful! From Nick who made the event planning so easy and streamlined to the staff that worked with us on event day, it was ALL fabulous!! Working with Nick was a breeze! He was always available and attentive and accommodating. He worked with our budget, answered all my questions and was very kind during every communication.
On our event day, every single member of the staff that worked in our event was kind, attentive and very sweet. Everyone made us feel welcome and made sure that we had everything that we needed. Our event was perfect!!

The guys during our event was so delicious!! The Guest House was incredibly accommodating to all of our dietary needs and our budget. They really worked with us and made sure that we had something for everyone. But also, they put together an absolutely delicious menu! All the food was to die for!

Thank you The Guest House for an amazing time!!!! We'll definitely be back!!

Wow! Visiting from Houston, Tx and the food is amazing. Fantastic price point! Love the ambience which matches the beautiful LA weather! Kudos to the Chief my Chimichurri pasta dish was to die for!

Cute restaurant with great atmosphere. I wish would have had more time to try different items on the menu, but we had to run in a hurry. I really enjoyed the French toasts though! Will go back!

This was beautiful experience???? Well we had a drink to start off at the best and was then seated once our table was ready.

We sat outside under one of the larger "umbrella" things and I thought that was pretty cool because the weather was perfect.

Food and drinks were great. I definitely recommend the salmon Benedict! I could eat that every morning. Girlfriend had the chicken and waffles and was upset with having to strip the meat from the wings...it was a lot of work. Chicken should be served without the bones when it comes to real chicken and waffles ????????‍♂️.

Overall it was a great experience. The atmosphere was great. The people were great. It was just great!
