Just before we went to this IHOP, my nephew wanted Chick-fil-A but us adults wanted IHOP. So, we went through the Chick-fil-A drive thru (about one block away) and got his breakfast. He got three small boxes of hashbrowns, which he hadn't fully finished before getting to IHOP. Toward the end of our meal, we placed the empty hashbrown boxes on the table to be cleared. Leslie stopped at our table and in a pompous attitude told us to clear the hashbrown boxes because they weren't from IHOP. She argued with us for a few seconds about how we should have thrown the hashbrown boxes away while at Chick-fi-A. Mind you, between two adults we spent $60 at Leslie's IHOP. After this very awkward and annoying exchange, our server walked up to our table and apologized for the situation.
I'd recommend going to a different IHOP in the area. Leslie was more worried about responding to text messages and hounding us about empty hashbrown boxes than creating a comfortable and safe dining atmosphere. She should be ashamed of herself.
