I read the reviews before coming. Also check my google reviews because you won't see much negative. Pulled up around 11pm. I was greeted by a male and female host that was really nice. She seated me where I wanted because it was only a few customers inside being so late. I sat there for about 15 mins watching everyone pass me walking back and forth before male server came and asked if he could help me. SMH.. After taking my order, more waiting time, not 1 person asked if I was okay. My food came out and asked if there was anything else and he brought me some oregano which was very flavorful by the way; after he walked off I began eating guess what? After more time went by not 1 person came and asked me anything I promise as if I weren't there. I felt very uncomfortable. I couldn't believe that was happening. I understand they had silverware to roll and all of that but that has nothing to do with at least checking on your customers. After I finished my food I promise I'm not making this up, I sat there waiting to see if someone was gonna come over to me and after about 15mins the female host who greeted me at my entry saw my facial expression and came to ask me if everything was alright and I just asked her if she could get my check and when my server saw her over there and then now he came over to bring my check. I was disappointed. The only thing I enjoyed was my pizza with oregano on the side, the female host and the male host outside. The atmosphere was nice but couldn't enjoy because of bad service.

The chef didn’t know what spaghetti pomodoro is!!!! This is an offence to the Italian cuisine and beyond disrespect. Please retrain your chefs. This is so embarrassing.

So I had such a great experience at Berri's last night that I had to leave a review. My date got off work late so we needed a late spot to eat. I walked in and immediately the atmosphere looked amazing. The food was amazing. The strawberry cheesecake and creme brulee tasted great for dessert. And the customer service was top tier. 10/10 I recommend if you're from out of town and want a nice dinner experience near Hollywood.

The only place in La where you can dine in after 11pm. Nice atmosphere unlike the many dive bar dinners around. Service was exceptional! These people go above and beyond. the lobster flatbread was phenomenal. Love that you can go here after bars at 2am to hang before going home .

For afterhours you dont wxpect much. The door staff outstanding. Calm and respectful. Now the food was okay. $100 pizza ? Naw it was okay. Tried once not doing after thism . The wings were good. SOUP WITH SHRIMP AMAZING! THAT I WLL PAY $44 AGAIN.

We decided to leave charged us 14.00 us for 2 bottles of Evian water
Could be the worst restaurant experience I have had in the world
We did find a great Italian restaurant up the road so that was a bonus

12” Cheese Pizza is $22. I ordered a 12” pepperoni and paid $35.

$13.00 for pepperoni topping?! The soda is also $8 per CAN. Wild!

Never again, not worth it!

Please do not waste your time or your money. This place is a joke and shouldn't be in business. From the moment you walk to the door you will be disappointed. The girl at the front is rude and it just gets worse from there.

As much as I love this restaurant but unfortunately they are bad as they use to deduct more than my bill amount as they deduct money from my credit card even if I am not dining there… when I told them with evidence they ignored me and they didn’t care till now they didn’t return my money $145.16 ???

Don’t give them any tips, they don’t deserve and pay in cash as well as read the menu and amount of your food ……

Horrible service and racist staff. They tried to almost charge us 1,300 because they could see that we just came back from a night out. Scammers and they tried to steal my friends phone. We did find my iPhone and found out the one of the staff members took the phone. Our waitress was horrible the food was horrible the hookah was horrible. I have no idea how they’re still in business. Could definitely sue for the way they treated us. They wanted us to pay before we ate because they saw that we were black. Never again.

ATTN: BLACK PEOPLE. Do not eat here. This restaurant refused to serve a group of black people specifically on the basis of them being...."BLACK." If they're bold enough to be racist out front, just imagine what they'll do to your food in the back. Berri's Cafe, if you don't want black people eating at your establishment, put a sign on the door and/or put it on your website. This is not the 1950s. We're not going to beg to eat at your business. We'll simply take our millions to an establishment where we're treated with kindness and respect.

This is not a review of the food, but more a review of the staff. My car was parked outside of this restaurant and one of their restaurant signs scratched my car. They didn’t take any responsibility or call back with surveillance footage like they said they would. This just speaks to the character of whoever owns this restaurant.
