Die Lage des Hotels ist phantastisch. Wir hatten jedoch wohl, wenn ich so manch andere Rezession lese, Pech mit dem Zimmer. Sehr klein jedoch zweckmäßig, aber das Badezimmer war eine echte Zumutung. Sehr unsauber, Schimmel in den Fugen und Duschabtrennung. Die Toilettenpapierrolle abgerissen und das Toilettenpapier einfach auf einem Regal abgestellt. Das Frühstück ist ebenfalls ausbaufähig. Für den geforderten Preis hätte ich mehr erwartet. Aber wie oben bereits geschrieben, scheint es verschiedene Zimmer zu geben. Die Nummer 2 kann ich aber nicht mit gutem Gewissen empfehlen.

I stayed at this sweet hotel with my friend, her daughter, and my goddaughter last May, and just booked another stay here for April next year. Here’s why: friendly hosts, comfy beds, hearty breakfasts, pretty courtyard, and excellent location— all at a reasonable price. I can’t wait to revisit Bruges with the BlaBla as base camp.

Being a two star hotel, I think this was pretty decent and good value - I could easily recommend it. The location is just excellent, in a quiet side street to the two most busy shopping streets in Brugge, and also just next to That’s Toast - an awesome breakfast place. The staff was friendly and helpful. A couple of things to be aware of, though. We spent 4 nights in room 5 - a family room. The room was nice and clean, but not very spaceous, and the big antique cabinet looked shabby chic, but useless for storing our clothes. There is also a bit of noise transmitting through the door when other guests use the stairs to/from their rooms. No elevator and quite narrow stairs. The bathroom was ok. Also be aware of mosquitoes if you keep the window open at night, but I guess that’s the same for all of Brugge… They should have a mosquito net in front of one of the windows.

Great b&b hotel tucked away in a side street. Comfortable rooms, friendly helpful staff.
