We loved our visit at Hotel Palazzo Papaleo! It was centrally located, staff was amazing and room was great! I would definitely return here during late October or early in the season. (Cautionary note: We stayed here in late October and although there were crowds on the weekend, they quieted down at a reasonable hour. Not sure if the same would be true during peak tourist season, so if sleep is important to you, you may want to have some good ear plugs!)

Excellent hotel, great place to stay. It is right next to the Cathedral, so the location is in the central old town, yet far enough off the main tourist streets that it is quiet. The room was very well furnished and supplied. We had a very private deck which was a welcome retreat for an afternoon break. Breakfast on a roof patio is beautiful, with a fine view across the harbor, plus great local food. Staff are excellent and helpful, from cleaning people through front desk people. This was one of the best lodging stops on our 1-month travel through S Italy. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Palazzo Papaleo. Before we even arrived, Valentina reached out with very clear communication on where to meet her so that she could kindly take our luggage to the hotel and recommend the best parking facilities close by. Once we had checked in, we were shown to our room by the wonderful Mateo who explained a bit about the history of the hotel and some helpful information for our stay. Our room was gorgeous, with a balcony overlooking the streets of the old town and a gorgeous a little terrace. The breakfast each day was a perfect assortment of fruit, cereals, yoghurt, eggs, breads and cakes and served on their stunning roof terrace. The service throughout our stay was impeccable and we could not recommend highly enough!

Wir wurden am 11.09. sehr herzlich und freundlich empfangen.
Hatten eine Junior Suite mit kleinem Balkon (seitlicher Meerblick) gebucht.
Auf der Terrasse gibt’s eine wunderschöne Terrasse und ein Jacuzzi - einfach traumhaft!
Das Frühstücksangebot war ok, aber für ein 5* Hotel eher bescheiden.
Alle Mitarbeitenden waren zuvorkommend, hilfsbereit und äusserst freundlich.

Beste Lage im Zentrum und trotzdem ruhig im Hotel. Ausgezeichnete Betten.
Sehr sauber und sehr grosse Zimmer.
Sehr aufmerksamer Service. Feines Frühstück auf der Dachterrasse.
Der bewachte Parkplatz befindet sich in Gedistanz (5 Minuten) und kostet 20 Euro pro Tag.

Ottimo ! Tutto ottimo! Il posto è invidiabile perché proprio centrale. Il personale tutto molto efficiente e professionale sin dal check in con la ragazza bionda della quale non so il nome fino a Matteo molto preparato. Da menzionare anche Laura la chef che, saputo al pomeriggio la mia preferenza per la Sacher senza glutine , l’ha subito preparata per la colazione ! Grazie

Ottima accoglienza da parte del personale. Sono stati tutti molto gentili e preparati. Ci hanno offerto un upgrade ad una camera deluxe, che abbiamo molto apprezzato. Ottima anche la cena sulla terrazza, che ha una bellissima vista mare ed interessante la possibilità di scegliere piatti non presenti nel menù. Super consigliato!
