My husband and I dined here twice while in Polignano. The first time I requested a GF panini and was told only the vegetarian option was possible to make GF and they could definitely cater for me as someone with GF intolerance.
At the time I was so happy, the taste was delicious! The bread was like nothing I’d had before and staff were helpful. I was suspicious but trusted what they said was what I got (I was wrong).
I was sick for two days (I have a gluten intolerance- not coeliac and I was in so much pain for two days with ongoing symptoms).
After returning for a second time and requesting the exact same order, staff advised me they were unable to make the vegetarian panini GF as vegetables were fried. After explaining that they made this GF last time I visited, they agreed to do it as a one off (the two women were so kind at the till and I appreciated them going above and beyond).
When my panini came out it was completely different to what I received two days prior. The bun looked GF and had the typical GF texture. I immediately knew the panini I received two days prior was NOT GF and I could now pinpoint what made me so sick.
Proceed/dine with caution ⛔️ it may be a small mistake but HUGE for those who suffer from food allergies.

Certo bisogna aspettare un po’ la fila c’è ma è comunque scorrevole. Si fa fatica a scegliere i panini perché cambi idea ogni volta che ne passa uno.

Le concept de cet établissement est original. Nous sommes plus sur un fast food de poissons, qu’un restaurant. Vous commandez vos plats directement au comptoir et on vous les apporte à table.
Tout est bien préparé et assaisonné. Personnellement, je me suis régalée avec le tataki de thon (12 euros). Les spritz sont également très bons !
Réservation recommandée selon les périodes d’affluence !
Das trifft es eigentlich am besten.
Polpo artosto war gut, frischer Rucolasalat, gewohnte, gute italienische Qualität.
Das Thunfischsteak war fad und salzig.
Also nur bedingt gut, auf jeden Fall geht es besser für den Preis, keine Geschmacksexplosion erwarten.

I know my review won't make a difference nor be heard or read by the owners but must leave a negative review.
My gf (non Italian speaker) and I (Italian speaker) were waiting for around 20 minutes to get the receipt. While we were close to the till my gf stared to look for a free table..she had found a table and a very rude waiter asked her in a very rude way to stand up without really listening to her reasoning.
I then approached the waiter in Italian asking why she would ask a customer to stand up after queuing 20 minutes and while her partner was close to the till. She rudely answered me by saying that it was the rule.
I was forced (not by them) to leave the premises due to the way My gf was rudely treated by an unfortunately ignorant waiter who couldn't even politely express herself in English
We would have probably come back a couple of times as we were staying around the area for a short holiday in the area.
Abbiamo assaggiato un panino con tonno crudo e uno invece con salmone crudo: tutti e due sublimi!
Ingredienti e abbinamenti di gusti interessantissimi.
Prezzi buoni e servizio al tavolo abbastanza veloce.
si può prenotare solo un ristretto numero di coperti per ogni servizio, altrimenti si può solo entrare, ordinare e accomodarsi dove si trova posto oppure decidere di prendere i panini take away e accomodarsi sulla spiaggia poco lontana.
Assolutamente IMPERDIBILE ♥
