Optimal für den Kurztrip nach Bari mit den Öffis. Sauber, ruhig, nettes Personal, Frühstücksbuffet okay und v.a. Gleich neben Centrale und alle Sehenswürdigkeiten fussläufig erreichbar.

I stayed at the Hotel Adria for eight days. It was a superb hotel and very reasonably priced. First, it is super clean. The room was spotless and sparkling. Everyday cleaning was thorough. Even the elevator mats are changed daily (they have the day of week written on them!). Second, the single room and bathroom were spacious, well-lit, and well-designed. Bathroom fixtures were in top shape. The layout and the sink and shower were designed to prevent water spilling or splashing, and left ample space to put toiletries. Bed was comfortable and there were well-situated plugs for charging devices. Wifi worked well. Third, the room was quiet and well-ventilated, even though it was an interior courtyard. Fourth, daily service was diligent in replacing anything running low (from the coffee/tea to soap or bathroom tissues). Fifth, breakfast was ample and varied (cakes, pastries, cold cuts, mozzarella balls and tomatoes, rolls and focaccia with tomato, and more), and starts at 7 AM. Like everything else, the set up was well-designed to make good use of space, even when crowded, and the staff were busy and diligent in serving coffee and keeping things stocked. Lastly, don’t think twice about staying so close to the train station: I never heard a train from the hotel, the streets were busy and safe, and it is very convenient to catch frequent trains to nearby places, an excellent base for visiting Puglia. There’s even a supermarket in the train station.
The efficiency, cleanliness, and services of the hotel not only made my stay more pleasant and productive, but it was a joy to see such a well-run business (it’s not easy). I hope they’re there another hundred years. I appreciate it and will happily return.

Very nice large room with balcony. Shower needs maintenance. Very kind staff. Breakfast good with some quality items.
