VILLA SAINTE-VALÉRIE ^{* * * *}

This is one of the prettiest & tranquil hotels we have stayed in. The staff were charming, unobtrusive and attentive. Location is great - 5 mins walk into the centre of Juan le pins. ||We stayed in one of the superior rooms in a separate building to the main hotel. A huge room and a very large bathroom, with a separate walk in shower, separate toilet, a roll top bath and two sinks.||The gardens are delightful and the pool, although small, was perfect for a quick dip or for floating and catching the sun.||People have complained about the breakfast, which to be honest is not fantastic but was definitely ok. It could be improved by offering more fruit options such as melon, berries and perhaps a couple more hot dish options. ||They provide cabins with showers for people who have late flights and require changing facilities after checkout (although they could be improved by the addition of toilets).||There's much to love about the hotel and the improvements I would recommend are based on personal preferences.||There are not enough vegetarian options on the lunch and late evening menu. ||There were enough sunbeds but rather hard, changing to cushioned ones would be a huge improvement.||The bathroom showers were 'old school' with hot and cold mixer taps and trying to get an ambient temperature required precision movement of each - which was quite challenging.||Despite the above it really is a lovely hotel and will be my 'go to' hotel in the south of france. ||We just loved it there!!

We made a mistake and booked 2 rooms instead of 1. The woman who checked us in realized right away it was a mistake and was very kind, however the man who worked there was VERY RUDE and kept ARGUING with us, He said he would talk to the manager and get back with us. HE NEVER DID, He kept saying our reservation kept him from selling a room, however when I went on the internet and showed him he has rooms still available and our reservation did not cause him to loose money, he immediately went and CHARGED the credit card for a 5 night stay!!! Over $1400! So we paid TWICE! They basically STOLE
from us! The man was so RUDE and ANGRY towards us, as 2 women in our 60's we were actually AFRAID !!! The women who worked there were all very kind. We may be older but we are not done with them yet!!! We have a friend who is French and a lawyer! Our experience with the French people was not very good, they are not a friendly or welcoming culture!!!!

Un bel établissement plein de charme, des jardins luxuriants, un havre de paix en plein de coeur de Juan les Pins. La chambre très confortable bien équipée et très spacieuse, un personnel gentil et prévenant, le petit déjeuner est servi sous les platanes muriers sur une belle terrasse. C'est un petit paradis proche de la mer. Merci de votre accueil !

Très bel hôtel, bien situé et au calme. Le jardin est magnifique et la piscine chauffée. La chambre spacieuse et confortable. Les petits déjeuner sont très bien et les produits proposés de bonne qualité.
