This was our last night on TMB. This hotel had very comfortable rooms, great showers, and a wonderful breakfast.

Very nice hotel. We had a quiet, comfortable room, with beautiful views. The check in was easy, breakfast was fantastic, and everyone at the hotel was friendly and professional. Highly recommended!

The hotel needs significant renovation, the rooms are not soundproof, you hear everything from all sides, including some ventilation all night long. My room had a view on fire escape stairs, extremely dark and had strange smell of chemicals and something else I couldn’t identify. The bathroom toiletries were limited, one mini soap and one mini bag of shampoo. Luckily, it was only one night. Was happy to leave next morning.

Hôtel extrêmement bruyant. Il était pratiquement impossible de se reposer, même tard dans la nuit. Des clients, visiblement étrangers, criaient, chantaient et faisaient du bruit sans aucune considération pour les autres. Aucune intervention du personnel malgré les nuisances répétées. Ce n’est pas un endroit que je recommanderais si vous cherchez calme et repos.

Du plus, et par son emplacement, nous avons pu partager le petit déjeuner avec l’ensemble des autres clients depuis notre chambre étant donné qu’elle est très mal isolée.

Hôtel charmant et authentique doté d'un personnel accueillant et souriant. Sa belle situation géographique nous permet d'admirer un panorama unique sur les glaciers.
Un deux étoiles de classe supérieure.????

Un chouette hôtel où faire une (dernière) étape avant la fin du TMB : le panorama est très beau, la chambre est confortable à souhait et très propre, on s'y sent très bien pour une bonne nuit de repos ????????

Hôtel situé à Argentiere, à quelques minutes en train de Chamonix.
Lieu de passage idéal sur cet axe très fréquenté quelle qu'en soit la saison.
Les chambres ne sont pas immenses, mais répondent aux exigences d'un hôtel deux étoiles.
Le petit déjeuner est plutôt bien fourni, et les locaux sont propres.
Quelques points négatifs:
- les prix assez conséquents
- l'odeur de febreze omniprésente à telle point qu'elle est ancrée dans le bâtiment

Un très joli petit hôtel, avec vue sur la montagne et les cascades. L'accueil y est très agréable et convivial. Les petits déjeuners sont copieux (buffet), avec des produits locaux excellents.
Venez nombreux pour être cocooné dans les chambres aux décors montagnards. Une excellente adresse !

Really good standard of room for the price. Heated boot racks in the ski room! Great location on the main road. Room was a decent size, bed was comfy and had a hairdryer.

Very friendly and well-positioned hotel I enjoy going back to. Practically perfect in every way - my only quibble is I would prefer a slightly bigger pillow!

Recensione per il ristorante: rapporto qualità prezzo impareggiabile rispetto ad altri ristoranti eleganti della zona. Servizio attento e rispettoso, cameriere anzi molto disponibile; piatti abbondanti, raffinati e particolari (e molto buoni!). Il prezzo è poi onestissimo, molto più di altri locali di pari livello francesi ed italiani. Spesi 50€ per due secondi di carne + due dolci + acqua, coperto e due caffè. Eccellente ????????

Ps simpaticissimo il vecchio cane che si aggira tra i tavoli ????????????

Definitely would give 5 stars except smoking is allowed and the mattress smelled of smoke.I didn't even think to check smoking in a hotel.... it has been YEARS that I have seen a hotel that allows smoking.|The room was lovely, the breakfast was awesome, the staff was professional but the room smells of smoke. I can not recommend a smoking hotel

This was our last night - Day 10 of our TMB hike. Lovely hotel in Argentiere with an excellent restaurant on site. Comfortable room with a great view. We had the 3 course meal - escargots/beef filet/chocolate ganache desert that was excellent. Breakfast was very good with soft boiled egg, ham, cheese, toast, yogurt etc. Good storage area for our luggage. Friendly staff.

Je connais Le Dahu depuis 20 ans. Agréable, propre, payable. Endroit central pour balades en nature. Superbe vue sur le glacier d'Argentière.

This was my 3rd stay at Dahu, and I was not disappointed . It has character and very friendly staff plus a superb breakfast every day .
However the hotel is looking a little tired . The rooms are a bit basic and cramped, the lighting and heating in all rooms is dreadful and plug sockets are all in the wrong place. All things that are easily fixed.
That said the Hotel Dahu has character and if the skiing were better I would happily return.

Une chambre qui donne sur un chantier, réveillé à 8 heure du matin par des disqueuses et marteaux piqueurs.
Ces gens n'ont pas de respect pour leurs clientèles.

Petit break de 4 jours dans cet hôtel très pratique et idéalement situé. Aucun besoin de voiture, proximité arrêts de bus, gare SNCF, commerces. Petit déjeuner fabuleux, personnel charmant. J'y reviendrai avec plaisir.
