Di passaggio nel nostro giro del monte bianco in e bike, tappa al hotel de la couronne un albergone confortevole e pulito, forse non troppo caratteristico, ma buon servizio e ottima colazione.

Très bel Hôtel, on regrette le charme d'antan, plus de géraniums aux balcons, froideur des chambres. Le temps est passé par là et a effacé l'ancien chalet chaleureux qu'il était.

This was our final stay after the Tour du Mont Blanc. The family room was perfect for our needs - we had one king bed and 3 twins. we also had skylights that had views out to the mountains (with blackout blinds). I wish we had stayed an extra night, as we didn't get a chance to explore Argentiere, but the construction on the ski hill across from the hotel has me thinking maybe we come back in winter. It is very easy to reach Chamonix on the train (we got free transport tickets with the hotel stay), or any other towns along the line. The hotel was such a nice, luxurious stop after our hike, I would highly recommend it.
