The camping is wonderful! The campsites are big with private toilet and shower, a beautiful view and the camping has a relaxing pool overlooking the water and grass with elephants and hippo’s. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to others. Thank you for the stay :)

Grote camping, vriendelijk. Geen Bemerkung. Wel niet mogelijk om er te gaan eten of iets in de bar te drinken. Is op 25 km van de lodge Kwando. Huo rekening met inkopen...
Grote camping plaats. Mooi zicht, grote privaat douche en afzonderlijke privat wc.

Loved the camp, huge space with a big cooking area and very nice private ablutions. The bar isn’t serving drinks by the pool, but we brought our own beers over and hung out to watch the sunset by the river, it was lovely. Also, follow the path past the bar to the edge of the river to watch for hippos.

My only annoyance with our stay, is that if you book from their website, they will send you an email with coordinates to the site: as of June 2023, those are WRONG. If you book camping, you need to go to Bushcamp by Camp Kwando, no matter what the emails tell you. Otherwise you will be driving 45min in the wrong direction.

Great, spaces Campsite. Amazing Pool where you can bring your own drinks for Sundowner. Roxy the Manager was very very helpful. Big Patio where you can cook under a roof when it's raining. Fireplace outside and "inside". Outside shower. Nothing to complain. Definitely come back next time.

At the same time the most luxurious place to park our car and tent (the open roof toilets and shower truly deserve a visit) and one of the most minimalist in terms of common areas. The sunset from the bar is absolutely awesome and we were therefore a bit disappointed to learn that there was nothing to drink from the bar (we were actually all alone in the camp). So bring your own aperitif! With that, the site is to be absolutely recommended (as long as you are not afraid of hippos, who are walking in the camp at night). Nice staff when they are around.

Man hört leider die Straße die ganze Nacht, da dort die LKW die ganze Nacht vor der Brücke am Checkpoint abbremsen und dann wieder losfahren. Zudem müssen sie über unzählige Bremsschwellen fahren dort, was zudem sehr laut ist. Zu teuer für den Standort.
